It will be a family reunion in Tucson after defensive end Jason Harris announced Wednesday evening on social media that he has committed to playing football at the University of Arizona. Jason recently entered the NCAA transfer portal after one season at Colorado. The 6-foot-7 Harris, who was an All-American last year at Gilbert Higley, was recruited by Arizona out of high school before choosing the Buffaloes. Jalen Harris plays defensive end and linebacker for the Wildcats. The brothers last played tog ether at Mesa Desert Ridge when Jason was a freshman starting at defensive end on varsity. Jason transferred to Higley the following year. Their father Sean was an All-American linebacker for the Wildcats during the Dick Tomey coaching era. - Arizona Rep ublic

On the second day of 2020, Jason Harris was in the spotlight on national TV, announcing his decision to join the Colorado Buffaloes. On the final day of 2020, Harris announced he's looking to transfer. On Thursday, the outside linebacker from Gilbert, Ar iz., posted his decision on Twitter. The highly touted, 6-foot-7 pass rusher had 23 scholarship offers and picked CU over Indiana, Arizona and others. Harris' brother, Jalen, is a linebacker at Arizona. His father, Sean, also played linebacker at Arizona , from 1991-94 before seven seasons in the NFL, and his mother, ChaRon, played for the Wildcats' women's basketball team. - Daily Camera
