2022 ALL-MISSOURI VALLEY FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: DS Dalton Godfrey, South Dakota, Sr.,...Godfrey (Cedar Falls, Iowa) is a returning all-American long snapper and the first specialist in coach Bob Nielson's 30 years to be named a team captain. He worked with both a new punter and kicker this season in Bickle and Eddie Ogamba. The Coyotes led the Valley and ranked in the top-10 nationally in net punting (39 ypp). Godfrey and the Coyotes ranked 10th nationally in net punting last season. He forced and recovered a fumble while covering a punt in the first quarter that se t the Coyotes up at the SDSU 20. He then downed back-to-back punts at the 5- and 1-yard lines.
