2019 ALL-PSAC FOOTBALL EASTERN DIVISION FIRST TEAM (COACHES): DL Alex Findura, Bloomsburg, Jr., Stockbridge, Ga./Woodland,...Findura capped his breakout campaign for the Huskies with an All-PSAC East first team honor as a defensive lineman. Findura colle cted 57 tackles, including a team-leading 16.5 tackles for loss for 48 yards. The junior also collected 7.0 sacks and four quarterback hurries. Findura blocked a kick and in the Huskies' 22-17 win at East Stroudsburg, Findura recorded his first-career sa fety. Findura posted at least one TFL in every game but two for Bloomsburg and had a career-best 12 tackles against Stonehill to open the year. In his career, Findura has 73 tackles, 22.0 TFL, and 9.5 total sacks. He has forced a pair of fumbles in his c areer and recovered two. - Bloomsburg Football

OCT 21 PSAC EASTERN DIVISION DEFENSIVE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Alex Findura, Bloomsburg (Jr./DE), Stockbridge, Ga./Woodland,...Findura was all over the field on Saturday as he helped the Huskies snap a four-game losing streak with a 22-17 victory at East St roudsburg. The junior defensive lineman totaled five tackles while posting 2.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks on the afternoon. His sack total was a single-game career-high while his 2.5 tackles for a loss was half a TFL shy of his career best. Findura also added a safety - Bloomsburg's first safety since November 7, 2005 in a 52-39 loss against East Stroudsburg in the second round of the NCAA playoffs.
