  2019 ALL-SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): DL Chris Livings, McNeese, Sr., Lake Charles, La.,...The Lake Charles native ended the season with a team-high 9.5 quarterback sacks, ranking him third in the conference. He recorded 12 tackles for a loss to go along with 52 total tackles, two pass break ups, five quarterback hurries and three forced fumbles. He ended his career with 30 QB sacks, ranking second all-time in school history and just one away from the career record of 31. He also recorded 44 career tackles for a loss, ranking fourth all-time in school history. - McNeese Football

  2019 SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Chris Livings, McNeese,...Joining Sully Laiche as one of just nine players in conference history to compile 30 career sacks, Livings finished the year with 9.5, which was good for third in the Southland. Livings recorded a team-high 12 tackles for loss and posted at least half a sack in each of the team's final five games, including a season-high three against Northwestern State. - Southland Conference Football

  2019 PRESEASON ALL-SOUTHLAND CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): DL Chris Livings, McNeese, Sr., Lake Charles, La.,...Livings will be entering the 2019 season within striking range of the school's career quarterback sacks record. The Lake Charles native has recorded 20.5 sacks in his career, ranking him fourth on the all-time list and is 10.5 away from Bryan Smith's record of 31. In addition, Livings has accumulated 31 career tackles for a loss and needs just a half TFL to move into the all-time top 10. Last season, Livings tied a single-game school record with five QB sacks in a win over Abilene Christian and ended the season with eight takedowns on the year, matching his single-season career best from 2016. - McNeese Football
