Oklahoma State kicker Tanner Brown nailed a 27-yard field goal with 1:55 remaining in Saturday's Hula Bowl to lift Team Kai over Team Aina 16-13 in the college football all-star game at UCF's FBC Mortgage Stadium. More than 100 players from across the country participated in the Hula Bowl, which has been traditionally held at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii, but took place in Orlando for the second straight year.

"It was great for the kids," Team Kai head coach Brian Billick told the Orlando Sentinel."The way it should be - a close-fought game. They worked through it and had a great week. Turnovers as usual dictate the outcome of the game." Brown's game-winning kick was set up by an interception from Arizona edge rusher Jalen Harris, who deflected and caught a pass from Fordham quarterback Tim DeMorat. DeMorat, who played high school football at Viera, finished 2 of 4 passing for 80 yards with the interception and 1 touchdown - a 75-yard pass to UAB wideout Trea Shropshire as the third quarter came to a close. - Orlando Sentinel
