  South Alabama running back Carlos Davis has been suspended indefinitely following an arrest on drug-related charges, the school announced Friday. According to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office online arrest log, the 22-year-old Davis was arrested on two charges: "Trafficking-Marijuana" and "Use/Possession Drug Paraphernalia." According to jail records, Davis was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail at 3:35 a.m. Friday, where he remained as of Friday afternoon. Davis, a former Muscle Shoals High School standout, rushed for a team-best 674 yards and three touchdowns in 2020. He was expected to be the Jaguars' starting running back again in 2021. - Birmingham News
