Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy and superstar running back Chuba Hubbard ended the new video with a hug Monday night. But hours before, the two were on opposite sides. Monday was a wild day that started with Gundy wearing a shirt of far-right, pro-Trump cable news network One America News in a photo posted on social media. That led to Hubbard saying he would no longer participate in Cowboys activities until changes were made, drawing national attention and support from current and former players. By nightfall, the two appeared to make up. In a video posted to Hubbard's Twitter account, Gundy said he met with players and was ready to make changes. "In light of today's tweet with the T-shirt I was wearing, I met with some players and realized it's a very sensitive issue with what's going on in today's society," Gundy said standing next to Hubbard. "We had a great meeting and made aware of some things players feel like that can make our organization and our culture even better than it is here at Oklahoma State.

Hubbard then apologized for his tweet, saying he should have gone to Gundy in person. "I'll start off by first saying I went about it the wrong way by tweeting," Hubbard said. "I'm not someone that has to tweet something to make change. I should've went to him as a man. I'm all about action. That was bad on my part. "From now on, we're going to focus on bringing change, and that's the most important thing." - Daily Oklahoman
