Former Florida State punter Logan Tyler is transferring to Arizona State. Tyler announced his transfer via social media Thursday. I will forever be grateful to everyone who has made my time at Florida State University as special as it has been. Thank you Nole Nation for everything. He was suspended from Florida State in September 2019 for what was described as a violation of team rules. In November, he was arrested on charges of DUI following a three-month investigation into his scooter crash Aug. 23. Tyler's blood alcohol was three times the legal limit from blood taken in the emergency room following the crash. ASU coaches cannot comment on Tyler, who will be a grad transfer, because he is not yet admitted. Tyler was a three-year starter at Florida State. He averaged 43.2 yards per punt in 2017 and 2018 and 42.5 overall in his Seminole career. He had 50 punts over 50 yards and 139 touchbacks on kickoffs at Florida State. - Arizona Republic
