  09/29/19 - RB Isaiah WhiterSr/2020, Stony Brook, 5-11, 202 (DS#999 RB) + More +

Tyquell Fields ran 50 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with 11 seconds remaining and Stony Brook defeated Rhode Island 31-27 on Saturday night. Field's touchdown capped a wild fourth quarter in which 37 points were scored, Stony Brook (4-1, 1-0 Colonial) blew a 21-7 advantage and the lead changed twice in the final 1:05. Rhode Island's Vito Priore, who had 295 yards passing and three touchdowns, connected with Aaron Parker on a 20-yard touchdown pass to give Rhode Island its first lead of the game, 27-24. After the kickoff, Stony Brook had the ball on its own 25 with a minute remaining.

The Seawolves picked up a couple of first downs but soon faced fourth-and-6 at the 50-yard line. Fields dropped back in the pocket, briefly looked downfield to pass, then took off up the middle. He ran virtually untouched into the end zone. Earlier in the fourth quarter, URI's Ahmere Dorsey returned a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown and Priore's 24-yard pass to Isaiah Coulter drew the Rams (0-4, 0-3) within 24-21 with 1:42 remaining. Stony Brook piled up 535 yards of offense with 336 rushing and Fields passing for 199 yards. Isaiah White carried 20 times for 109 yards and a touchdown. Stony Brook is undefeated in the series, winning seven times. - AP College Football
