WEEK 6 SUN BELT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dominic De Freitas, App State, (Fr., K - Nappanee, Ind.),...Mountaineers freshman kicker Dominic De Freitas tallied nine points in App State's 27-23 win over Oregon State. The Nappanee, Ind., native conne cted on field goals of 49 and 45 yards and converted 3-of-3 extra-point tries in the victory. His 49-yarder that opened the scoring was the longest field goal by a Mountaineer since 2023, while his 45-yarder in the third quarter capped the App State outp ut. Through five collegiate games, De Freitas is tied for second among Sun Belt kickers, averaging 1.2 field goals made per outing. - Sun Belt Football
