WEEK 11 OVC-BIG SOUTH CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Rico Bond, WR, 6-1, 177, R-Fr., St. Louis, Mo., Lindenwood,...Bond caught seven passes for 65 yards and a touchdown in Lindenwood's game at Western Illinois. The redshirt freshman led the Lions in receptions on the day and scored on a 13-yard reception in the third quarter, marking his first touchdown grab in three weeks. WEEK 4 OVC-BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Rico Bond, WR, 6-1, 177, R-Fr., St. Louis, Mo., Lindenwood,...Bond had a season-best eight catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns as Lindenwood won its home opener in topping Stony Brook 30-27. The redshirt fr eshman caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Nate Glantz just 1:49 into the game and added his second score on a 34-yard catch just before halftime to put the Lions ahead 27-3. Bond has now scored in three-straight games and is averaging 73.0 yards per ga me, which is second in the Association and 39th nationally (fourth nationally among freshmen).
