WEEK 10 CONFERENCE USA FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Rodney Tisdale Jr., WKU - R-Fr. - QB - Jacksonville, Fla.,...Tisdale Jr. threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns on his way to a second-straight Freshman of the Week title. Making the second start of his colle ge career and first at home, he completed 79% of his passes (30-38) and added 28 yards on 12 rushing attempts in the win, helping the Hilltoppers to 429 yards of offense in the game. Tisdale threw touchdown passes to three different receivers, and 10 dif ferent Hilltoppers had at least one reception in the win, with six posting multiple catches. - Conference USA Football

WEEK 9 CONFERENCE USA FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Rodney Tisdale Jr., WKU - R-Fr. - QB - Jacksonville, Fla.,...In the first start of his collegiate career, Tisdale posted 300 yards of offense in WKU's 28-27 overtime road win over Louisiana Tech on Tuesday at J oe Aillet Stadium. Tisdale threw for 227 yards and a touchdown on 21-34 passing and rushed for a game-high 73 yards on 12 attempts. Tisdale completed passes to nine different receivers as the Hilltoppers put up 340 yards in the win. Tisdale completed a p ass to Moussa Barry for the game-winning two-point conversion, helping the program reach bowl eligibility for the seventh time in as many seasons under Helton while the team improved to 4-1 in Conference USA play this fall. - Conference USA Football

Rodney Tisdale Jr. threw for 371 yards and three touchdown passes to lead Western Kentucky to a 42-26 victory over Middle Tennessee on Saturday night. Tisdale was 29-of-41 passing and he connected with Matthew Henry seven times for 135 yards that include d a 22-yard touchdown. Noah Meyers had a pair of short-yardage touchdown catches for Western Kentucky (8-2, 6-1 Conference USA), which has won six of its last seven games. Marvis Parrish added 102 yards rushing for the Hilltoppers. La'Vell Wright had tou chdown runs from 3 and 8 yards and finished with 84 yards on the ground. Roman Gagliano completed 25 of 42 passes for 389 yards and threw two touchdown passes for Middle Tennessee (1-9, 0-6). Rodney Tisdale Jr. threw four touchdown passes to lead Western Kentucky to a 35-16 victory over New Mexico State on Saturday. Tisdale completed 30 of 38 passes for 301 yards. He connected twice with Matthew Henry for scores and threw a touchdown pass eac h to Moussa Barry and Jackson West. Henry and K.D. Hutchinson made seven catches apiece and combined for 164 yards receiving for Western Kentucky (7-2, 5-1 Conference USA), which has won five of its last six games. The Hilltoppers finished with 429 total yards and held New Mexico State to 179. Ryan Hawk kicked three field goals that included a 50-yarder for New Mexico State (3-5, 1-4), which has lost three straight and five of its last six.
