  WEEK 6 PIONEER FOOTBALL LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nate Furrow, Marist (Sophomore (RS), Linebacker, Bel Air, Maryland),...Furrow became the second FCS defender to record five tackles for a loss in a game this season and the first with all five tackles unassisted to help Marist post a 19-14 PFL victory against San Diego. It was the first five-TFL day by a PFL defender since 2023 (Drake's Finn Claypool). Furrow had three sacks on the day and finished with eight total tackles. He saved his best for last with Marist leading 19-14 and San Diego driving, Furrow recorded back-to-back sacks on 3rd-and-13 on the Marist 39 and 4th-and-19 on the 46-yard line to secure the Red Foxes' victory. He accounted for 20 yards lost on his five tackles behind the line of scrimmage. - Pioneer Football
