Nate Robinson Jr., Marist, Player News

WEEK 3 PFL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nate Robinson Jr., Marist (Sophomore, Defensive Back, San Antonio, Texas),...Robinson Jr.'s 10-tackle, two-pick day led a Marist defensive effort that allowed just 298 offensive yards in a 21-10 victory against Wagner on Saturday. He started strong, posting an interception and six tackles in the first quarter alone, with the interception coming three plays after the Red Foxes' first score. Robinson Jr. then helped solidify Marist's lead in the second quarter, picking off a pass after Marist took the lead for good. On the first drive of the second half, he notched three tackles, including an assist on a tackle-for-loss that stopped a 4th-and-1 opportunity. The Marist defense posted five interceptions - two by Robinson Jr. - and held Wagner to 56 passing yards. - Pioneer Football League
