WEEK 12 OVC-BIG SOUTH SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Charlie Viorel, K, 5-10, 185, Jr., Wilmington, N.C., Gardner-Webb,...Viorel scored 12 points while making all of his attempts in Gardner-Webb's 30-14 win at Tennessee State. The junior connected on a 26-yard field goal to open the game and then added a 28 and 26-yarder in the second quarter. He was also 3-of-3 on PAT attempts and averaged 64.0 yards on seven kickoffs (seven of which went for touchbacks). Viorel, who earned the award for the fourth time this season, ranks 15th nationally in field goals made per game (1.27). He connected from 40 yards out early in the fourth quarter and added a 30-yarder four minutes later in a stretch that saw the Runnin' Bulldogs score 13 points in just 3:57 of clock time. The junior was also 6-of-6 on PATs and averaged 60.0 yards on nine kickoffs, five of which went for touchbacks.
