WEEK 1 MOUNTAIN WEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: AAMARIS BROWN, UNLV, Senior, Defensive Back, Tampa, Florida/South Florida,...Recorded four tackles and an interception return for a touchdown in UNLV's 38-21 win at Sam Houston...All four of his tackles were solo stops, including three tackles for loss, two of which were sacks...Picked off a Bearkat pass and returned it 52 yards for a score in the second quarter...After Sam Houston recovered an onside kick in the fourth quarter, Brown sacked the Bearkat s' quarterback on fourth-and-5, forcing a turnover on downs and allowing the Rebels to run out the clock. - Mountain West Football
