It was the first time since 1975 that a Golden Hurricane punter averaged 46.0 yards or bet ter and is the second-highest in school history, behind Glenn Dobbs' nation-leading 48.3 average in 1942. A two-year starter, Bennett earned second-team all-American Athletic Conference honors in 2018.A Carlsbad, California native, Bennett has han dled Tulsa's punting duties in his two seasons.
