  UNI Football hosts San Diego in the first round of the FCS Playoffs in the UNI-Dome 1 p.m. Saturday as announced by the FCS selection committee Sunday. The Panthers closed out the season with a 8-4 record and defeated Western Illinois 38-7 to close out the regular season. San Diego out of the Pioneer Football League is 9-2 on the season and 8-0 in conference. - Northern Iowa Football
