  2019 ALL-GNAC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Andrew Gross, Western Oregon, P,...Gross handled all of the kicking and punting duties throughout the season and was twice named GNAC Player of the Week. He averaged 38.55 on 33 punts with a long of 56 yards. Four traveled over 50 yards and six landed inside the 20. In field goals he made 3-6 with a long of 37 yards and on kickoffs averaging 58.4 yards on 64 attempts, landing five for touchbacks. Gross went 42-48 on extra point tries this year. He averaged 41 yards per game in five games this season in punting with his top average of 44.25 against Simon Fraser. He started all 11 games coming away with three interceptions (second on the team), 50 tackles (fourth on the team), with 34 solo, five tackles for loss, three passes broken up and a fumble recovery. He also returned a few kickoffs taking four back for 109 yards, with a long return of 44 yards against Azusa Pacific. Sinclair had at least a tackle in every game, posting five or more in four games going for a high of nine versus Angelo State. He had a tackle for loss in four games, with a high of two against Eastern New Mexico. Sinclair had a pair of interceptions against Central Washington and added another interception against Texas A&M-Kingsville. Overall for the season he had 15 passes broken up, 35 tackles, 30 solo and two interceptions while starting 10 games at defensive back. He also spent time returning punts during the season. He had at least four tackles in a game on six different occasions, going for a high of nine against Azusa Pacific in which he had eight solo stops. He also recorded a six tackle game against Texas A&M-Commerce. Parnell collected a pair of interceptions against Angelo State and Simon Fraser and broke up a pass in nine games, swatting away four versus Texas A&M-Commerce and had at least two or more in four games. - Western Oregon Football

He led the team in solo tackles with 44 and was second on the team in total tackles with 68. He also led the team in tackles for loss with 10.5 and tied for the team lead in sacks with 6.5 Parnell also recorded an interception, a pass breakup, a quarterback hurry and three forced fumbles in starting every game. He had at least four tackles in every game this season going for at least five or more in seven games. He had a high of 10 tackles against Eastern New Mexico and had four or more solo tackles in seven games. Parnell had over a tackle for loss in four games, posting three two tackle for loss games against Simon Fraser, Central Washington and Azusa Pacific.   2019 ALL-GNAC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Nate Proctor, Western Oregon, LB,...Proctor, Jr., put together another strong season to lead the WOU defense in tackles with 70, 38 solo, 9.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, a pass breakup, three quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and a historic blocked field goal that earned him GNAC Player of the Week honors and sent the Wolves to their first share of the GNAC title in school history. He's started every game this year at linebacker and has recorded at least six tackles in nine games this season going for at least eight in four games and has a high with 10 against Central Washington when he had 10 tackles. He also added nine tackles against Central Washington. He recorded two tackles for loss against nationally-ranked Texas A&M-Commerce and has at least a half-sack in seven games, with a high of 1.5 coming this past Saturday versus Eastern New Mexico. He had a long reception of 74 yards. Five games this season he went for over 50 yards, pulling in a season-high 118 yards against Simon Fraser. He also had a 96-yard game against Texas A&M-Commerce. Wright had a reception in 10 games this season with multiple catches in seven games, three times bringing in four or more receptions with a high of five against the Lions.   2019 ALL-GNAC FOOTBALL HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): Christian Needham, Western Oregon, OL,...Christian Needham helped the WOU offense shatter several program records since the program moved to Division II in 2000 rushing for the most yards in a single season with 2,672 and the most rushing touchdowns with 30. The 5,119 yards of total offense is also a new high mark in a season, as the Wolves recorded 53 total touchdowns this year. The passing game was also effective tossing for 21 touchdowns and 2,452 yards. The Wolves scored 375 points this season and picked up 238 first downs. He helped block for a trio of runners that all went for over 700-plus yards this season, with Omari Land rushing for over 1,000 yards, QB Ty Currie rushing for 825 yards and Nico Jackson adding 729 yards. All three went for over 100 yards in the first meeting against Azusa Pacific and Currie took home three GNAC Player of the Week honors and Land with one during the season. He led the conference and ranked 12th in Division II in total offense, averaging 292.9 yards per game. His 217.9 passing yards per game ranked second in the conference while his 75 rushing yards ranked third. He completed 12 of 16 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown while also carrying the ball 22 times for 178 yards and another touchdown. He completed passes to six different receivers and had three passes over 30 yards while also finishing with a long run of 32 yards.
