11/14/19 - Durrell Nash, Sr/2020, Saint Augustine + More +   2019 FIRST TEAM ALL-CIAA (COACHES): Linebacker Durrell Nash, Saint Augustine's,...A first-team selection, Nash led the CIAA in tackles (92) and tackles per game (10.2) in the regular season despite missing one contest. He tied for 16th in the conference in tackles for loss (9) and passes defended (7), and tied for 18th in interceptions (2). Nash was the Falcons' co-leader in tackles for loss and the team leader in passes defended and pass break-ups (5). Nationally, Nash ranks 19th in Division II in tackles per game. Nash was named CIAA Linebacker of the Week three times. He won the award more than any linebacker in the conference this season. The SAU linebacker recorded double-digit tackles in five of the nine games he played. He collected a season-high 16 tackles, including four for loss, against Johnson C. Smith University on Nov. 2. Nash finished with 14 tackles, including two for loss and a sack, against Shaw University in the Raleigh Classic on Nov. 9. His two interceptions helped the Falcons upset Southern Division champion Fayetteville State University on Oct. 26.
