  NOV 14 BIG SOUTH DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Carolina A&T defensive lineman Shomari Wallace (Hope Mills, N.C.) posted a career-high eight tackles (six solo, two assisted) with 3.0 tackles-for-loss and a sack in North Carolina A&T's 20-10 win over Charleston Southern that kept the Aggies atop the Big South standings. He played a crucial part in the Aggies holding CSU to 48 rushing yards on 14 carries, as well as allowing the fewest offensive yards (210) and points (10) against a Division I opponent this season. Also nominated for Defensive Player of the Week: Joe Andreessen (Bryant) and Dorian Jones (Campbell). - Big South Football

  OCT 24 BIG SOUTH CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Carolina A&T quarterback Jalen Fowler (Spartanburg, S.C.) passed for career-highs of 297 yards and four touchdowns to lead North Carolina A&T to a 38-14 Big South victory at Robert Morris. His four TD strikes came in the first half, with three going for 30 yards or more. Fowler finished the afternoon with 301 yards of offense with no interceptions. - Big South Football

  Jalen Fowler threw four touchdown passes in the first half as North Carolina A&T rolled to a 30-0 lead and kept Robert Morris winless with a 38-14 win on Saturday. Fowler connected with Zachary Leslie for 1-and 32-yard touchdowns in the first quarter. In the second, Fowler went 52 yards to Bhayshul Tuten and 34 to Sterling Berkhalter. The Aggies (4-3, 2-0 Big South), who have won four straight, picked up 224 of their 484 yards in the second quarter when the Colonials (0-7, 0-3) had four total yards. Fowler finished 19 of 30 for 297 yards. In addition to three catches for 118 yards, Tuten rushed 23 times for 139 yards. Leslie had seven catches for 118 yards and Berkhalter two for 37. Anthony Chiccitt threw for a score and ran for another for Robert Morris, which finished with 69 yards passing and 212 total yards. Alijah Jackson ran for 111 yards. - AP College Football

  SEPT 26 BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: North Carolina A&T running back Wesley Graves (Danville, Va.) rushed for a career-high 72 yards on 16 attempts (4.5 average per carry) and scored his first career touchdown in helping the Aggies to their first win of the season. His touchdown run from 12 yards out gave A&T a commanding 31-13 lead in the third quarter. Graves had a long run of 24 yards. - Big South Football

  SEPT 26 BIG SOUTH CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: North Carolina A&T kicker Andrew Brown (Lexington, N.C.) tallied 11 points on two field goals and five extra-points in the Aggies' 41-27 win over South Carolina State. He connected on a career-long tying 49-yarder to close out the first half and move A&T ahead, 17-13, and added a 48-yarder in the fourth quarter for the final margin. Brown is just the third kicker in Big South history to make two field goals from at least 48 yards in the same game. - Big South Football

  Georgia Tech picked up an offensive lineman through the transfer portal as former Kentucky lineman R.J. Adams announced his commitment Saturday. Adams matches the profile of several players who have aligned with Tech out of the transfer market this offseason - players who were highly-rated as high-school prospects who have yet to play significantly at the college level. From Woodbridge, Va., Adams was the No. 460 prospect in the 2020 class, the No. 23 guard nationally and a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports Composite.   Kingsley Ifedi threw two touchdown passes and Devin Harrell's interception return for a touchdown helped seal North Carolina A&T's 27-17 victory over South Carolina State in a nonconference game on Saturday. Ifedi threw a touchdown pass to Taymon Cooke that pulled North Carolina A&T (5-5) to 17-13 midway through the third quarter. Jah-Maine Martin broke loose for a 33-yard score about five minutes later and the Aggies led 20-17. Harrell picked off a Quincy Hall pass and ran 10 yards into the end zone with 1:49 remaining. Ifedi was 8-of-18 passing for 125 yards. He also threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Nick Dobson in the first quarter. Martin finished with 16 carries for 85 yards. Kendrel Flowers ran the ball 15 times for 160 yards that included a 51-yard touchdown run for South Carolina State (5-5), which ended a four-game winning streak.   Kashon Baker ran for two touchdowns, special teams added a score and North Carolina A&T defeated Charleston Southern 21-18 on Saturday. Joseph Stuckey intercepted a pass near midfield to secure the game with 1:27 to play for the Aggies (4-5, 3-3 Big South). On a third-and-9 play from its own 7, the Aggies gained 92 yards as Jalen Fowler found Bhayshul Tuten for a catch-and-run. Baker punched it in on the next play. On it's next possession, Charleston Southern was punting from its 30 when the snap went over the punter's head and Jazir Station recovered it in the end zone. Baker pushed the lead to 21-3 with a 5-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Kyris Barnett and Jack Chambers had rushing touchdowns for the Buccaneers (3-5, 2-4) in the fourth quarter. - AP College Football

  Jalen Fowler threw for three touchdowns and his 60-yard scoring pass to Bhayshul Tuten with 6:24 remaining rallied North Carolina A&T past North Alabama for a 38-34 win on Saturday. Fowler's game-winning toss was immediately on the heels of Rett Files' 4-yard scoring pass to Nick Haynes that gave North Alabama its last lead at 34-31 with 6:47 left. Fowler finished 14-for-20 passing for 243 yards with scoring passes also going to Zach Leslie and Kashon Baker. Files threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns. The win marks the 10th straight season the Aggies (3-2, 2-0 Big South Conference) have won three consecutive games. North Alabama (0-6, 0-2) now has lost 10 straight games with the first four starting in its abbreviated 2020 season. The Lions last win occurred Nov. 16, 2019 in a 34-30 contest against Gardner-Webb. - AP College Football
