  2019 ALL-COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Evan Gray, New Hampshire, FB/HB, Sr., Centreville, Va,..Gray carried the ball 108 times for 646 rushing yards and four touchdowns, both of which were team highs. Gray averaged 58.73 rushing yards per game and 6.0 yards per carry. He also caught five passes for 28 yards and had one kickoff return for 12 yards for a total of 686 all-purpose yards.

Gray ranked No. 2 on the CAA leaderboard in yards per carry and eighth in rushing yards per game. He recorded his first 100-yard rushing game with seven carries for 123 yards - including a personal-best 81-yard run - in UNH's 27-24 win against the University of Rhode Island. Gray followed that with 99 rushing yards on 10 attempts vs. Duquesne University, and that included a 72-yard touchdown. - New Hampshire Football

  2019 ALL-COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Evan Horn, New Hampshire, S, Jr., Lebanon, Pa.,..Horn led New Hampshire in solo tackles (51), total tackles (70) and interceptions (four). His other stats included five pass breakups and seven tackles for loss, which included four sacks, as well as two forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered. Horn recorded a career-high 11 tackles, including 10 solo stops and a personal-best two sacks, as well as a forced fumble in the season finale vs. Maine. He was named STATS National Defensive Player of the Week and CAA Defensive Player of the Week in recognition of those stats. Smith, Jr. helped secure UNH's 28-10 win against Maine with a 30-yard fumble return to give the Wildcats that 18-point lead with 1:36 remaining; he also force a fumble earlier in the game. His other season highlights included a career-high two interceptions at nationally-ranked Delaware and a personal-best 13 tackles (eight solo, five assisted) against URI. He made 14 of 17 field goal attempts (82.4%), including 7-for-8 on attempts of 40+ yards, and the 14 FGs marked the highest total by a UNH team since 2015. Hughes hit a career long of 45 yards three times, including back-to-back games against Duquesne and Elon University. He connected on his last seven attempts of the season with five kicks of 42+ yards. As the University of New Hampshire football team surges into the second half of its season on a four-game win streak, one that has it tied atop the CAA standings with James Madison, it continues to promote new players on the defensive side of the ball. The latest casualty was senior safety and captain Pop Lacey, who was scheduled to undergo surgery on Monday after injuring his foot in practice last week.   Evan Horn and Oleh Manzyk each scored on an interception return in the first half and New Hampshire shut out Elon in the second for a 26-10 victory on Saturday. Manzyk ran 55 yards into the end zone in the first quarter. Horn's pick-6 from 50 yards stretched the Wildcats' lead to 20-10 at halftime. Max Brosmer threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Nick Lorden for New Hampshire (3-2, 2-0 Colonial Athletic Association) in the first quarter. Jason Hughes made field goals from 45 and 42 yards in the fourth. Davis Cheek was 17 of 31 for 184 yards passing and threw four interceptions, three in the first half for Elon (2-4, 1-2). Jaylan Thomas scored on a 13-yard run that capped an 11-play, 70-yard drive early in the second quarter. New Hampshire avenged last season's 30-9 loss against Elon, it's only defeat in six meetings since the Phoenix joined the CAA in 2014. - AP College Football
