LSU football safety Jordan Toles has entered the transfer portal, he told LSU Odyssey. Toles, a former four-star recruit, had 16 tackles over 14 games in two seasons with the Tigers. During spring practices, he was working out at cornerback due to LSU's lack of depth at the position. At 6-foot-1 and 209 pounds, Toles' career-high in tackles (6) came against UCLA in LSU's season opener last year. Out of high school, Toles was the No. 80 player and No. 5 safety in the nation, according to 247Sports Composite, at St. Frances Academy in Maryland. The Tigers have a deep unit at safety this season with returning starter Jay Ward, Arkansas transfer Joe Foucha and sophomore Major Burns. The Tigers also have former five-star recruit Sage Ryan and sophomore Matthews Langlois at the position. - Lafayette Daily Advertiser
