Odieu Hiliare and Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim put up impressive numbers together at Alabama A&M. The two wide receivers want to do the same thing at Bowling Green State University. Hiliare and Ibrahim, Florida natives who excelled together for three seasons at the Football Championship Subdivision school, have reunited in northwest Ohio. Ibrahim transferred to BGSU in mid-January, around one year after Hiliare joined the Falcons. "When we first came to A&M, met in the 2019 summer, we told each other we're going to start something together and we're going to finish it together," Ibrahim said. "We started at A&M, and we're going to finish at Bowling Green." Hiliare and Ibrahim both have one season of eligibility remaining. The duo will be aiming to recreate the magic when they combined for nearly 2,000 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns the last time they played together in 2021. - Toledo Blade

However, he delivered a strong season as a fifth-year junior in 2022 as he rushed for 557 yards and four touchdowns. He enjoyed his best game against Oklahoma in Norman as he rushed for 192 yards and two touchdowns to lead Baylor to a 38-35 win. - Waco Tribune Herald

The transfer portal gives and it takes. The Marshall football team has already gotten commitments from a handful of transfers who entered the portal in the past year, but has now lost 12 players from the 2022 roster who have made the decision to separate from the Herd. Shadeed Ahmed, a wide receiver who caught 60 passes for 651 yards and four touchdowns in three seasons at Marshall, officially announced his decision to enter the transfer portal Sunday afternoon, marking the 12th transfer Charles Huff has seen exit the program since the end of the 2022 regular season.

Ahmed followed in the footsteps of eleven former teammates, including quarterback Peter Zamora, offensive lineman Jack Murphy, defensive backs Jaydyn Johnson, Demarco Gibson and Hagan Stephenson, linebackers Dan Foster and James Smyre, defensive linemen Emmanuel Balogun, Immanuel Bush and Sherman Hatton and kicker Kenyon Bowyer. Of those transfers, seven have already found new homes, including three that transferred to teams within the Sun Belt. - Charleston Gazette

He became the first Bulldog to record a multi-interception game since BeeJay Williamson did so last season against Southeastern (9/11/2021). Brooks' first interception came at the 14:27 mark of the third quarter, then two drives later, he picked off a Middle Tennessee pass at the La Tech five-yard line and returned it 49 yards to the Middle Tennessee 46.
