He would finish the season with over 1700 total punting yards, averaging 44.57 yards per punt. He would also be responsible for 12 punts over 50 yards, and 20 punts within 20 yards. His longest punt of the year would come in the playoffs against Stephen F.   Oregon has landed another player via the transfer portal. Former Texas A&M receiver Caleb Chapman, who entered the transfer portal last month, committed to the Ducks. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound Chapman had 13 catches for 210 yards while playing in only six games last season due to injury. Limited to just three games in 2020, Chapman had 14 catches for 197 yards with three touchdowns. He appeared in 11 games as in 2019, with one catch for six yards. - The Oregonian

Caleb Berry - a 6-foot-1, 223-pound bruiser from Lufkin, Texas - will enter the transfer portal, he confirmed Tuesday. A three-star running back in the 2021 class, Berry enrolled early at Washington but did not appear in a game as a true freshman last fall. Berry - ranked by 247Sports as the No. 50 running back in the 2021 cycle - chose the Huskies over offers from Arkansas, Boise State, Colorado State, Hawaii, Houston, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Washington State and more. As a senior at Lufkin High School in 2020, Berry rushed for 529 yards and 6.4 yards per carry, before an injury ended his prep career.   Kevin Brown ran for 185 yards and scored two touchdowns to help Incarnate Word beat Nicholls 27-23 on Saturday. Brown broke loose for scores from 55 and 85 yards in the third quarter to give Incarnate Word (7-2, 5-1 Southland Conference) a 27-20 lead. Nicholls (4-3, 5-5) capped the scoring on Gavin Lasseigne's 45-yard field goal with 9:20 remaining. Lindsey Scott Jr. drove Nicholls to the Cardinals 9 on its final series but threw an incomplete pass on fourth-and-7 with 2:15 to play. Cameron Ward was 13-of-30 passing for 108 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for Incarnate Word. He added 76 yards rushing on seven carries. Kohen Granier completed 18 of 27 passes for 191 yards with a touchdown for Nicholls. Scott was 8-of-14 passing for 80 yards and ran for 49 yards. The Cardinals, who entered tied with Southeastern Louisiana atop the conference standings and ranked 21st in the FCS coaches polls, conclude their regular season on the road against winless Houston Baptist on Saturday. - AP College Football

  Collin Guggenheim ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns to lead Nicholls State to a 24-14 win over McNeese State on Saturday. Kohen Granier came off the bench and threw for 152 yards and a touchdown for the Colonels (4-4, 3-2 Southland Conference). Granier replaced Lindsey Scott Jr., who is close to 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing, but threw two interceptions in this game as the offense sputtered early. Guggenheim's 1-yard plunge capped a 10-play, 74-yard drive that produced a 21-14 lead with 6:10 left. The game was close with Nicholls getting 367 yards and McNeese 352. The Colonels lost the turnover battle 3-1. However, the Cowboys (3-5, 2-3) had 13 penalties for 179 yards. A last-minute field goal clinched the win and entering their final drive, the Cowboys had more penalty yards than either the running game or passing game, until a late scramble. - AP College Football
