  10/05 IVY LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Nathan Bailey, Harvard,...Harvard Football first-year Nathan Bailey has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week. This marks the wide receiver's second consecutive rookie honor from the league after capturing his first career award seven days ago following a standout performance at Brown. As a back-to-back recipient, Bailey is the first Crimson player to accomplish the feat since Justice Shelton-Mosley in 2015. That season, the wideout/return specialist earned the award four straight weeks to end the campaign. Bailey is also just the ninth Harvard first-year to win the weekly rookie award multiple times in one season since 2002.

In Saturday's 20-17 win over 20/22 Colgate (coaches/media), the wide receiver totaled career highs in receptions (16) and receiving yards (187), all while scoring the winning TD on a lateral from Teigan Pelletier as time expired. Bailey's 16 catches were the most in a single game this season in the FCS and ranked second all-time in school history. His 187 receiving yards, meanwhile, were the sixth most in the FCS this year and the most by a freshman in 2026. A native of Montclair, New Jersey, Bailey also contributed to other areas of the game, rushing once for two yards, returning one punt for six yards, and returning one kickoff for 19 yards. For his all-around performance vs. the Raiders, Bailey was named earlier today the Stats Perform National Freshman Player of the Week. - Ivy League Football

  10/05 WEEK 5 STATS FCS NATIONAL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Nathan Bailey, Harvard WR, Fr., 5-8, 175,...Bailey scored on perhaps the FCS season's most memorable play: He took a lateral from teammate Teigan Pelletier and raced to the pylon from 8 yards out to finish a game-ending Hail Mary pass completion of 44 yards as Harvard stunned Colgate 20-17. Bailey finished with the most receptions (16) and the fourth-most receiving yards (197) by an FCS player this season. He also had one carry, one kickoff return and one punt return while gaining 224 all-purpose yards.   09/28 IVY LEAGUE Defensive Player of the Week: Xaden Benson, Harvard,...Benson accounted for all four of Harvard's takeaways in the victory over Brown on Friday night by intercepting three passes, recovering a muffed punt and adding four tackles. The performance helped him earn his first career Ivy League weekly honor. Benson's three interceptions tied Harvard's single-game record and made him one of eight players in program history to accomplish the feat. Two of Benson's interceptions ended Brown drives in Harvard territory, including a key second-quarter takeaway at the Crimson 19-yard line that preserved a 14-0 halftime lead. His third interception came with 1:32 remaining in the fourth quarter and sealed the victory after the Bears regained possession with an opportunity to take the lead. Benson currently leads the FCS with 2.0 interceptions per game and is tied for the National lead with his total of four. He also leads the Ivy League in both categories and is also first nationally in passed defended with a 2.0 clip through two contests. - Ivy League Football

In the passing game, Bailey made nine catches for a team-best 80 yards, tying Harvard's first-year record with the reception total. The New Jersey native added 21 rushing yards and 17 return yards to meet the all-purpose total. The total was the highest by a Harvard first-year since Aidan Borguet '23 amassed 269 rushing yards against Yale on Nov. 23, 2019. - Ivy League Football

  Charlie Smith threw a pair of touchdown passes in the first half and Harvard held off Brown 14-10 on Friday night in an Ivy League opener. Smith completed 30 of 37 passes for 205 yards with an interception for the Crimson (2-0), ranked 21st in the Stats Perform poll for the Championship Subdivision. Smith had a 5-yard touchdown toss to Ryan Tattersall at the end of a 48-yard drive and Harvard led 7-0 after one quarter. Xaden Benson intercepted James Murphy to set up the short drive after Brown (1-1) recovered a Cole Allen fumble at its own 15 to end the Crimson's first possession. Smith directed a 15-play 86-yard drive that ended with a 4-yard scoring toss to Teigan Pelletier and Harvard took a 14-0 lead into halftime.

Smith completed 21 of 24 for 154 yards in the first half, but Max Malo picked off his third pass of the third quarter and the Bears turned it into a 48-yard field goal by Drew Crabtree to get on the scoreboard. Jackson Bennett had a 29-yard touchdown run to finish a 76-yard drive and cut it to 14-10 with 8:16 remaining. Benson intercepted Murphy again two plays after the two-minute warning and Harvard took over at the Bears' 39 before running out the clock. Murphy threw three interceptions and finished 18 for 24 for 121 yards for the Bears (1-1). Harvard has won 10 of the last 11 against Brown and has a 92-31-2 record in a series that began in 1893. - AP College Football

  09/21 IVY LEAGUE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sean Line, Harvard,...Harvard Football's Sean Line has been named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The award is the first of his career after he helped the Crimson defeat New Hampshire on Saturday, 31-7. A native of Stockholm, Line recorded a game-high 10 tackles, a game-and career-high 2.0 sacks, a game-and career-high 3.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. His sack total was one more than UNH had as a team and his TFL total was a half-tackle shy of matching the Wildcats' total for the game. Line, who has four straight double-digit-tackle outings dating to last year, was part of a Harvard defense that limited UNH to seven points in the game and 49 yards rushing just one week after the Wildcats put up 42 points and 153 rushing yards vs. Stonehill. - Ivy League Football

  NOV 24 IVY LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Ryan Tattersall, Harvard,...Harvard Football first-year Ryan Tattersall has been named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week. The wide receiver is the first Crimson player this season to earn rookie weekly accolades and is the first Harvard first-year to be recognized since Xaviah Bascon in 2023. Hailing from Wilmington, Delaware, Tattersall had five receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns at No. 25 Yale. His two-TD afternoon was his first multi-touchdown performance of the season and doubled his touchdown output entering the game (1 at Stetson). His five catches and 92 yards, meanwhile, were both career highs. Tattersall and his Harvard teammates now turn their focus to the postseason where 12th-seeded and No. 6/9 (coaches/media) Villanova awaits. The Crimson, which earned an at-large berth to the FCS Playoffs, will meet the Wildcats on the gridiron on Saturday at noon ET in a game that will air on ESPN+. - Ivy League Football

  NOV 17 IVY LEAGUE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kieran Corr, Harvard,...As for Corr, who earlier in the day was named Stats Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week, he was perfect on his six point-after-attempts in what was a shootout on Tim Murphy Field at Harvard Stadium. After the Quakers took a 43-42 lead with 22 seconds remaining, Craig engineered a 5-play, 40-yard drive that brought the Crimson to the Penn 35-yard line with five seconds left. The situation called for Corr and the sophomore put the ball through the uprights to send the Crimson to its ninth win in nine tries this season and secured at least a share of its third straight Ivy League title. The 53-yarder was a career long and his first game-winner at the collegiate level. Corr also handled kickoff duties and averaged 55.7 yards on his seven attempts, with three going for touchbacks. - Ivy League Football

He had 15 previous field goals in his career, but none had been longer than 38 yards. Corr also was 6 for 6 on extra points and handled seven kickoffs. On Saturday, Harvard (9-0) will visit rival Yale to determine the Ivy's first-ever FCS playoff bid.   Charlie Dean threw for 316 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, Aidan Borguet rushed for 117 yards and Harvard beat Pennsylvania 37-14 on Saturday. Dean had three touchdowns in the first half for a 24-7 lead. Kaedyn Odermann opened the scoring with his first touchdown catch of the season, Joe Young added a 29-yarder and Tyler Neville scored from 14-yards out with 27 seconds left before the break. Haven Montefalco capped a 75-yard drive to begin the second half with a 6-yard TD grab.

Dean was 29 of 38 without an interception and Borguet reached 100 yards for the third straight game for Harvard (6-3, 4-2 Ivy League). Borguet also moved into sixth on the program's single-season rushing list with 1,120 yards. Jonah Lipel made three field goals with a long of 42. Aidan Sayin was 21-of-31 passing for 212 yards and a touchdown for Penn (7-2, 4-2). Rory Starkey Jr. caught eight passes for 117 yards and a touchdown. Harvard improved to 5-0 on the road this season and hosts first-place Yale (7-2) next Saturday in the 138th playing of The Game. - Harvard/AP College Football

  Aidan Borguet ran for 179 yards with two touchdowns, Kym Wimberly also had two touchdowns, and Harvard defeated Dartmouth 28-13 on Saturday. Borguet's touchdown runs of 12 yards in the third quarter and 21 yards in the fourth were the only scoring plays in the second half. Wimberly's 34-yard reception from Luke Emge and his 9-yard TD run helped Harvard to a 14-13 halftime lead. Emge completed 11 of 17 passes for 195 yards for the Crimson (5-2, 3-1 Ivy League). Nick Howard and Zack Bair scored on short runs for Dartmouth (2-5, 1-3). Dylan Cadwallader was 19-of-32 passing for 212 yards for the Big Green.
