  Naiteitei Mose's 63-yard pick-6 with 12 seconds left gave Georgetown a 30-24 win over Bucknell on Saturday. Mose snared Christopher Dietrich's pass and raced down the right sideline for the winning score after the Hoyas had blown a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter. Dez Thomas II's 31-yard touchdown pass to Hassan Mahassin gave Georgetown (5-3, 2-1 Patriot League) a 21-14 lead early in the third quarter and Thomas Anderson extended the margin with a 35-yard field goal early in the fourth.

Bucknell (4-5, 1-3) rallied on Dietrich's 20-yard TD to TJ Cadden and Matt Schearer's 27-yard field goal with three minutes remaining after being unable to get into the end zone despite first-and-goal from the 3. Thomas threw for 188 yards and a score for Georgetown. Jimmy Kibble had 115 yards on eight catches. Savion Hart rushed for 116 yards on 21 carries.   Nicholas Dunneman returned a punt 55 yards for a touchdown and Dez Thomas II had a 67-yard rushing touchdown as Georgetown defeated Wagner 31-20 on Saturday after a two-hour lightning delay. The game was halted shortly before 4 p.m. local time with under 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter due to lightning in the area, and did not resume until 6:15 p.m. Dunneman's TD gave the Hoyas (2-0) their first lead of the game about 4 1/2 minutes into the second half, and Thomas' long run made it 24-17 with 3:28 left in the third quarter. Georgetown has won its first two games for the third straight season.

Savion Hart tacked on a 5-yard rushing touchdown to extend the Georgetown lead late in the fourth quarter. Danny Lauter threw for 164 yards and a touchdown, completing 14 of his 24 passes. GianCarlo Rufo had 11 total tackles with 1 1/2 sacks, and Cody Pham added nine tackles. Quincy Briggs had an interception to end the game. Sekou Kamau, Matt Morad, and Andre Hines combined for 157 rushing yards for the Seahawks (0-2). - AP College Football

  Naieem Kearney and Bryce Cox each ran for two touchdowns, Georgetown turned several big plays into points and the Hoyas rolled past Davidson 46-24 in a season opener on Saturday. The Hoyas broke open a close game with three touchdowns in the third quarter after Mason Gudger's 78-yard kickoff return to open the second half set up a 20-yard touchdown run by Kearney on the following play. Georgetown added a 64-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Quincy Briggs and a 23-yard touchdown run by Cox to take a 43-17 lead into the fourth.

Georgetown also had touchdown runs of 23 yards by Kearney and 59 yards by Cox. The Hoyas totaled 263 yards rushing on 27 attempts; 9.7 yards per carry. Georgetown's Danny Lauter completed 9 of 16 passes for 106 yards. After being as close as 19-17 midway through the second, Davidson did not score again until Andrew Frazier's 7-yard run with 1:55 remaining in the game. The Wildcats had 224 yards rushing on 57 attempts, led by Mari Adams with 48 yards. Georgetown has won six of the past seven matchups against Davidson and leads their all-time series 10-4.
