  2019 ALL-MEAC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): QB Ryan Stanley, r-Sr., Florida A&M,...Stanley led the Rattlers to a 9-2 overall record this season and the program's first national ranking since 2009. The Pembroke Pines, Fla. native was the top passer in the MEAC, averaging over 256 yards per game. He has broken four program career records at Florida A&M, setting new marks for passing touchdowns, passing completions, passing attempts and passing yards. Jefferson, a graduate student from Miami, Fla. finished the season with 69 total tackles, 33 solo tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one interception and one sack. Williams returned 18 kickoffs for 484 yards and one touchdown. Against Delaware State, Williams returned a kickoff 94 yards for a score.   Florida A&M (6) and North Carolina A&T State (4) led the way in this year's All-MEAC football voting with a combined 10 student-athletes named to the first team. The team was voted on by the MEAC's head football coaches and sports information directors. In a partnership with the National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame, the league's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year will be announced as part of the festivities surrounding the 62th NFF Annual Awards Dinner, Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.   Florida A&M scored the first 39 points to defeat Howard 39-7 on Saturday night, winning its ninth-straight game. The Rattlers (9-1, 6-0), ranked No. 14 in the FCS Coaches Poll, are the only unbeaten team in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference but are ineligible for the conference championship because of NCAA violations. The game started slowly for Florida A&M, which led 3-0 on a Yahia Aly 46-yard field goal, but the Rattlers struck twice more in 39 seconds in the second quarter.

Azende Rey capped a five-play drive with a run from the 2. Seconds later Markquese Bell intercepted Howard's Ramar Williams and Florida A&M scored three plays later when Ryan Stanley found Xavier Smith with an 18-yard TD strike. Smith caught seven passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Rey had one rushing touchdown and one receiving. Stanley went 15 of 28 passing for 172 yards. Williams passed for 154 yards and guided the Bison on a 17-play drive capped by Josiah Crute's plunge from the 4 to avoid the shutout.   2019 WALTER PAYTON AWARD WATCHLIST ADDITION: QB Ryan Stanley, Florida A&M,...The Pembroke Pines, Fla. native owns four career school passing records and surpassed Quinn Gray in those categories, which include passing completions (675), passing attempts (1,117), passing yards (8,252) and touchdowns (60). In addition, he owns the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) record in passing completions and ranks second in passing yards, fourth in touchdown passes and fifth in passing attempts. This season, Stanley is 159 of 261 passing for 1,928 yards, with 19 touchdown passes to just four intercetions. Also, he has rushed 23 times for 35 yards.
