  11/30/19 - Quentin HarrisrSr/2020, Duke, 6-1, 200 (DS#28 QB) + More +

Quentin Harris ran for one touchdown and threw for another, and Duke's defense had nine sacks in a 27-17 victory over Miami on Saturday, snapping its five-game losing streak. Deon Jackson ran 2 yards for the go-ahead TD one possession before Harris threw a 49-yard scoring pass to Jalon Calhoun, helping the Blue Devils (5-7, 3-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) win a game played in a persistent downpour that made things tough on the offenses. Harris, who had an early 24-yard scoring run, was 10 of 24 for 156 yards and rushed for 49 yards for Duke - a figure skewed by six sacks. His 18-yard pass to Calhoun to the Miami 5 set up Jackson's score that made it 20-17 with 9:37 to play.

Miami replaced starting QB Jarren Williams with N'Kosi Perry for the next drive - a three-and-out that netted 1 yard - and the Blue Devils needed only four plays to take a two-score lead, with Harris hitting Calhoun down the left sideline. They stopped Miami on a fourth down at the Duke 43 with 4:32 to play, then sealed it when Trevon McSwain sacked Perry and knocked the ball loose for Koby Quansah to recover at the Miami 26 with 2:17 to play. Williams was 11 of 26 for 142 yards with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Robert Burns and Cam'Ron Harris ran 8 yards for an early touchdown for the Hurricanes (6-6, 4-4), who closed the regular season with consecutive losses. - Duke/AP College Football

  09/27/19 - Quentin HarrisrSr/2020, Duke, 6-1, 200 (DS#28 QB) + More +

Quentin Harris threw for two touchdowns and ran for another and Duke beat Virginia Tech 45-10 on Friday night. Harris hit Noah Gray with scoring passes of 16 and 1 yards for the Blue Devils (3-1, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference). They also scored on a 25-yard trick play on which Harris lateraled to Jalon Calhoun, who hit a wide-open Deon Jackson to make it 21-3 late in the second quarter. The Hokies (2-2, 0-2) got their only touchdown on a 72-yard connection from Ryan Willis to Damon Hazleton after they fell behind 31-3. The loss is their worst at home since a 49-12 defeat against Houston on Sept. 28, 1974, and was coach Justin Fuente's first in four games against the Blue Devils.

Harris added a 42-yard touchdown run and Jackson had a 32-yarder early in the fourth quarter, sending fans pouring out of Lane Stadium.

The Blue Devils had done little until a turnover got them going. Hendon Hooker, in his second play at quarterback for the Hokies, tried to hand the ball to Keshawn King but it never got there and the fumble that resulted turned into a 24-yard loss to the Hokies 16. On the next play, Harris hit a wide-open Gray for the touchdown. Jackson was even more open when Calhoun hit him for the third score of the quarter. After managing just 5 yards in the first quarter, Duke had 162 in the second quarter and 141 in the third. In the fourth quarter, facing a fourth-and 3 from midfield, Blue Devils punter Austin Parker took the snap, tucked it and went for 28 yards off the right side, drawing boos. - Duke/AP College Football
