  2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Niko Lalos, Dartmouth (Sr., DL - Akron, Ohio),...An honorable mention a year ago, Lalos was solid all season but came on strong late in the year, being named the league's Defensive Player of the Week twice in the last three weeks. The senior from Akron, Ohio, ranked fourth in the league with 5.5 sacks and seventh with 10.0 tackles for a loss and a total of 35 stops. He led Dartmouth with eight quarterback hurries and utilized his 6-5, 270-pound frame to break up six passes and intercept another one, returning it 22 yards for a touchdown in the 27-10 win over Princeton at Yankee Stadium. The 6-2, 280-pound tackle routinely was double-teamed yet still was fifth on the team with 36 tackles and tied for third with 4.5 going for a loss with 1.5 sacks. A fifth-year senior from Las Vegas, Nevada, Perry also forced a pair of fumbles in wins over Colgate and Columbia, plus was credited with quarterback hurries at Harvard and Brown.   In a battle of Ivy League unbeatens, Dartmouth got a stellar defensive effort coupled with a strong rushing attack to avenge last year's loss to Princeton in a 27-10 victory at Yankee Stadium. Quarterback Jared Gerbino ran for two touchdowns and defensive end Niko Lalos returned an interception 22 yards for another as the Big Green took sole possession of first place in the Ivy League standings. Dartmouth rose one spot to No. 12 while Princeton fell 10 spots to No. 19 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

North Dakota State received at 26 first-place votes following a dominant win over Western Illinois and remains the No. 1 team in the nation. James Madison collected a 54-16 win over then-No. 25 New Hampshire and checks in at No. 2. Weber State defeated then-No. 22 North Dakota for its third straight win over a ranked opponent and remains No. 3. There are two new members of the Top 5 this week as Montana comes in at No. 4 following a blowout win over Idaho while Northern Iowa checks in at No. 5 following at 17-9 win over Indiana State. - American Football Coaches Association

  Jared Gerbino rushed for 97 and two touchdowns as No. 13 Dartmouth beat No. 10 Princeton 27-10 on Saturday in a battle of Ivy League unbeatens at Yankee Stadium. Dartmouth (8-0, 5-0) scored the first 17 points of the game, highlighted by Niko Lalos' 22-yard interception return for a touchdown. Gerbino added a 1-yard sneak and Connor Davis made a 33-yard field goal. Gerbino capped the scoring with a 21-yard run up the middle on the first play of the fourth quarter for Dartmouth's 10th straight victory, avenging last year's loss to Princeton. The Tigers (7-1, 4-1) had their 17-game winning streak end.

Kevin Davidson threw for 210 yards with one touchdown pass to Graham Adomitis and two interceptions for Princeton. The Tigers entered ranked among the top 10 FCS teams in scoring and total yards, but turned it over on three of their first four possessions and finished with just 246 yards. The game was played three days after the 150-year anniversary of Princeton facing Rutgers in the first college football game in New Brunswick, New Jersey. - AP College Football

  Caylin Parker ran for two touchdowns and Connor Rempel caught a pair of scoring passes as undefeated Dartmouth rolled past Marist in the Big Green's final nonconference game Saturday, 49-7. The game was the first meeting between the schools. Dartmouth (5-0) now has won 16 straight games against teams from outside the Ivy League and 10 straight games against first-time opponents. Dartmouth's quarterback triumvirate of Jared Gerbino, Derek Kyler and Jake Pallotta combined to complete 18 of 27 passes for 208 yards and each threw for a touchdown. Eight runners combined for 43 carries for 224 yards. Parker scored from a yard out and added a 43-yard run for a touchdown late in the first half. Rempel caught a 4-yard pass from Gerbino to get the Big Green on the board and added a 1-yard toss from Pallotta early in the third quarter. Matt Edwards got the Red Foxes (1-5) on the board with a 16-yard pass to Sean Gaffney with 2:53 left in the game. The Dartmouth defense did not allow Marist a third-down conversion on 11 tries and stopped them on fourth down in the Red Foxes only attempt.
