  2020 WUERFFEL TROPHY PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Donte Harrington, Boise State, senior, offensive line,...Harrington, a redshirt senior, appeared in six games, making four starts, in 2018 before suffering a knee injury the following spring which kept him out of action in 2019. During his action in 2018, Harrington helped open holes as running back Alexander Mattison posted his second-straight 1,000-yard season. Off the field, he has been one of Boise State's most active members of the community. Earlier in July, Harrington, in conjunction with the League of Women Voters of Idaho, organized a voter-registration drive in which 46 members of the Bronco football team registered to vote in Idaho. Holani posted three 100-yard performances in 2019, highlighted by a 178-yard effort with two touchdowns over just 16 carries (11.1 yards per attempt) in Nov. 23's 56-21 rout at Utah State.   The Mountain West announced its 28-member 2020 football preseason all-conference team on Wednesday afternoon, featuring 20 student-athletes who earned postseason all-conference honors last year. Boise State, which was predicted to win the Mountain Division according to the preseason predicted order of finish announced on Tuesday, leads the league with eight honorees, including senior Avery Williams, who was selected to the all-MW team as a defensive back and punt returner.   Sophomore running back George Holani was named to the Doak Walker Award Preseason Watch List, the PwC SMU Athletic Forum announced Wednesday. The award honors the top collegiate running back in the country. Ten semifinalists will be announced in November, with that list pared down to three finalists later in the month. The winner of the 2020 Doak Walker Award will be announced as part of the ESPN Home Depot College Football Awards Show scheduled for December 10, 2020.
