Liam Szarka rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown, Owen Allen added 105 rushing yards, and both Roger Jones and Max Mustell had interceptions to snap a five-game losing streak in a 24-21 Air Force win over Wyoming on Saturday. Quarterbacks Evan Svoboda and Kaden Anderson each threw a fourth-quarter interception to the Mountain West's worst turnover defense (four before this game). In a 14-14 game, Svoboda was intercepted by Jones in the end zone from the 3-yard line. Air Force (2-5, 1-4 MW) went 80 yards in eight plays, with Kade Frew taking the lead on fourth-and-1 with a 9-yard rushing score.

Anderson threw another interception to Mustell on the following possession with 4:39 remaining, setting up a 41-yard field goal into the wind from Reagan Tubbs. Anderson threw a touchdown for Wyoming (3-4, 1-2) with 1:02 remaining. He was 23-of-29 passing for 209 yards. It's the fifth-straight 100-yard rushing game by Czarka, an Air Force record. It was Air Force's 92nd consecutive game with 100 rushing yards, the longest streak in college football. Air Force's defense entered the game allowing 40 points per game (134th in FBS) and 496.7 total yards, and 323.3 passing yards per game, both the worst in FBS football. Wyoming tallied 409 total yards. - Air Force/AP College Football

  08/30/25 - Josh JohnsonJr/2027, Air Force, 6-2, 190 (DS#999 QB) + More +

Josh Johnson threw for two touchdowns, one to Cade Harris, and Harris ran for two and the Air Force Academy rolled to a 49-13 win over Bucknell on Saturday, the Falcons' 19th-straight season-opening victory. Air Force has won five-straight dating back to last season, the fourth-longest active streak in the nation, and the season-opening streak is second only to Ohio State. Johnson was 4-of-7 passing for 112 yards with a 40-yard connection with Quinn Smith and a 62-yarder with Harris. Last year Johnson threw one touchdown pass in his six appearances and none of the four Falcon quarterbacks had a multiple touchdown game.

Harris finished with 66 yards on eight carries and 83 yards on three receptions. Dylan Carson and Maguire Martin also had rushing touchdowns. Korey Johnson returned a fumble 34 yards for a score. The Falcons punted on their first possession then scored four consecutive touchdowns before missing a field goal late in the second quarter. Ralph Rucker IV was 10 of 18 for 126 yards with a touchdown and interception for Bucknell. After a 48-minute weather delay in the third quarter when the Falcons were up 42-10 the teams agreed to cut the fourth quarter to 12 minutes. - Air Force/AP College Football

  08/31/24 - Cade HarrisSr/2025, Air Force, 5-07, 185 (DS#999 WR) + More +

Cade Harris had two short touchdown runs in the first half and Air Force had no problem dispatching FCS-member Merrimack with a 21-6 victory in a season opener for both teams on Saturday. Harris scored on a 2-yard run in the first quarter and a 4-yard run with 16 seconds left before halftime to stake Air Force to a 14-0 lead. Merrimack went 0 for 5 on third-down conversions and managed just three first downs before intermission. The Falcons final score came midway through the fourth quarter after Merrimack turned the ball over deep in its own territory.

Luke Fischer recovered a fumble by Warriors receiver Jermaine Corbett and returned it five yards, giving Air Force the ball on the 14-yard line. The Falcons rushed six straight times with Aiden Calvert scoring from a yard out with 8:31 left to play. Merrimack avoided a shutout on the final play of the game when backup quarterback Ayden Pereira connected with Jalen McDonald for an 11-yard touchdown. Air Force had only 20 more yards of offense than the Warriors - 237-217. The Falcons’ last shutout came in a 28-0 victory over New Mexico in November of 2020. - AP College Football

  03/06/23 - Haaziq DanielsrSr/2023, Air Force, 6-0, 209 (DS#47 QB) + More +

Haaziq Daniels' application for a graduate school slot from the Air Force Academy was denied, an academy official confirmed, meaning the quarterback will not be able to prolong his career elsewhere as a transfer. Daniels will graduate in May and serve next year at the prep school on the grounds of the academy, where he will assist with the football team. A three-year starter and two-time bowl game MVP, Daniels entered the transfer portal this past December in hopes of playing as a grad transfer.

Former quarter Isaiah Sanders served as the trailblazer for that path, finishing his playing career with Stanford after graduating from Air Force. But the first step to that is being selected for one of the academy's competitive graduate school spots, and that's where Daniels' plan was thwarted. He will join a handful of teammates - offensive lineman Isaac Cochran and fullback Brad Roberts among them - in working out before scouts at Air Force's pro day in the middle of March. - Colorado Springs Gazette

Haaziq Daniels had a short scoring run and threw a touchdown pass in Air Force's 30-15 victory over Baylor on Thursday night in cold conditions in the Armed Forces Bowl. The game kicked off with a temperature of 13 degrees and a wind chill of minus 4 at Amon G. Carter Stadium, the home of TCU, Baylor's Big 12 rival. Baylor officials announced it was the coldest kickoff temperature in the history of the program based about 100 miles south of Dallas-Fort Worth in Waco. Daniels had a 2-yard touchdown run and a 15-yard scored pass out of Air Force's run-oriented triple-option offense. Brad Roberts rushed for two touchdowns, and Matthew Dapore had a 37-yard field goal for the Falcons (10-3). Roberts, a senior, ran for 116 yards, his school-record 20th career game with triple-digit rushing yardage.

Blake Shapen threw touchdown passes of 8 yards to Hal Presley in the second quarter and 14 yards to Gavin Holmes in the closing minutes for Baylor (6-7). With Air Force last in the FBS averaging 67.8 passing yards and 6.7 passes per game, Daniels was 4 for 7 for 103 yards and his fourth touchdown pass of the season to Caleb Rillos. He set up his touchdown run with a 68-yard first-down pass to Amari Terry thrown deep down the left sideline. Air Force, best in the FBS averaging 330.9 rushing yards during the season, ran 67 times for 276 yards. Baylor, averaging 429.2 total yards during the season, gained a season-low 230 yards. The Bears were 0 for 11 on third down, 3 for 6 on fourth down. - Air Force/AP College Football
