  Arizona State Football   WEEK 12 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Austin Peay's Carson Smith, the back-to-back Specialist of the Week honoree, went 3-of-4 on field goal attempts and 3-of-3 on PATs, accounting for 12 points scored in Austin Peay's 30-16 win against Samford. He also kicked off six times with a 64.0-yard average including three touchbacks. Smith connected on a season-long 50-yard field goal as time expired in the first half of the game.   Abilene Christian Football   WEEK 12 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: A redshirt-senior defensive end, Abilene Christian's Kaghen Roach recorded 2.5 of ACU's 6.0 sacks against EKU. For Roach, it marked his second multi-sack game of the season, and paced the Wildcats to their most sacks in a single game since 2012.   Mississippi Football   WEEK 12 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Southern Utah's Joshua Dye, a redshirt-sophomore running back, earned a second consecutive honor after racking up 181 yards on 39 carries in a important home game victory over UCA. He scored three touchdowns in the game to set a new Southern Utah single season program record for rushing touchdowns (25) and points scored (150). Dye still leads all of Division I (FCS & FBS) in rushing touchdowns and is now only nine yards behind from being the nation's leading rusher. He needs just under 200 yards to surpass the program record for rushing yards in a single season, set by Targhee Lambson a year ago. - United Athletic Conference Football

  Mississippi Football   WEEK 11 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: A redshirt-sophomore running back, Southern Utah's Joshua Dye rushed for 221 yards on 33 carries for an average of 6.7 yards per attempt, and has now tallied over 1500 yards this season. He currently ranks second in the nation and is only 27 yards behind the FCS leader. Dye picked up three more rushing touchdowns against EKU, bringing his season total to a Divison I football leading 22 scores.   Austin Peay Football   WEEK 11 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Austin Peay's Chris Parson, a redshirt-sophomore quarterback, recorded a career-best 374 yards of total offense and was responsible for four touchdowns in the Govs thrilling 41-38 win over UCA. He rushed 19 times for 73 yards and two touchdowns - including a 19-yard game-winning touchdown at the 7:25 mark in the fourth quarter. With his two rushing touchdowns, Parson broke the Austin Peay single-season quarterback rushing touchdown record.   North Alabama Football   WEEK 11 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: North Alabama's Azariah Fletcher, a redshirt-freshman wideout from Hartselle, Ala., boasted a memorable day against UWG by collecting his first career reception and first career touchdown. Midway through the first quarter, Fletcher caught a pass at the 40-yard line, broke a tackle and raced to the end zone for a 75-yard touchdown reception to give the Lions an early lead. He became the first Wildcat to have a multi-INT game in over a year and his two picks were part of a four interception day for the ACU defense.   Southern Utah Football   WEEK 10 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Southern Utah's Danny King was a kicking jack-of-all-trades in the T-Birds win over No. 22 Austin Peay. He was 2-for-2 on field goals, including a 43-yarder and a 52-yard blast that tied him for second longest in the SUU Record books. King netted 118 punting yards placing two of his three kicks inside the 20-yard line to keep the Govs offense pinned deep in their own territory.   Louisiana Tech Football   WEEK 10 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: A sophomore wide receiver, EKU's Marcus Calwise Jr. posted a career single-game high with three touchdown catches and 106 receiving yards in EKU's 34-13 road win at UCA. He scored two five-yard touchdowns in the first half before hauling in a 50-yard bomb for his third score of the game in the third quarter.   Iowa State Football   WEEK 9 UNITED ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: A redshirt freshman linebacker, Montreze Smith Jr. led Austin Peay's defense with a career-high 12 tackles including 10 solo stops. Smith recorded a tackle for loss and snatched a pair of interceptions in the Govs homecoming win over UNA. His 12-tackle, 2-interception performance is the only known double-digit tackle, two-interception game in Austin Peay history. Smith Jr. totaled 49 interception-return yards with runs of 34 and 15 yards after his picks.
