Sacred Heart Football   Jack Snyder hit Jason Palmieri for the go-ahead touchdown, Sacred Heart held Delaware State scoreless in the second half and the Pioneers defeated the Hornets 35-31 on Saturday. Delaware State's Marquis Gillis bolted 75 yards on the first play from scrimmage and the Hornets rolled to 345 yards and a 31-20 lead in the first half. Sacred Heart then dominated the second half, and Snyder's 41-yard touchdown pass to Palmieri plus a two-point conversion drew the Pioneers within 31-28 with about three minutes left in the third quarter. Snyder and Palmieri connected again on a 6-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter for their 35-31 lead.

The Hornets turned it over on downs near midfield on their only remaining possession of the game. Gillis' second touchdown run of the first half gave Delaware State a 21-10 lead and Jayden Sauray's 75-yard TD pass to Ryan Pellum Taylor made it 28-17 in the second quarter. The Hornets led 31-20 at halftime, with Gillis rushing for 102 of their 215 rushing yards. He finished with 123 yards.   Oklahoma State Football   Caleb Hawkins' third touchdown of the game ensured North Texas' 36-22 win over South Alabama on Saturday. The Mean Green are 5-0 on the field for the first time since 1959. That's not including 1977 when North Texas began 5-0 but only after a season-opening loss to Mississippi State was later forfeited by the Bulldogs. Hawkins had 140 yards rushing on 16 carries with two scores and 78 yards receiving with a touchdown. Hawkins has seven touchdowns in two weeks after scoring four times in a 45-38 overtime win over Army last week.

His final score was a 27-yard run with two minutes remaining during which he broke multiple tackles. That came after the Jaguars (1-4) closed to within six when Kentrel Bullock scored on a 2-yard run to cap an 10-play, 87-yard drive with 6:11 remaining. Hawkins scored on a 6-yard run to give North Texas a 14-7 halftime lead then took a screen pass 68 yards early in the third quarter for a score. Drew Mestemaker was 14-of-26 passing for 234 yards and a score for the Mean Green and also ran for a touchdown. Miles Coleman also ran for a TD. Bishop Davenport was 17-of-34 passing for 195 yards, a touchdown and an interception for the Jaguars. He also ran for a score. Devin Voisin had 97 yards receiving on five catches and Rod Gibbs also had a TD catch for South Alabama, which has lost four straight. - North Texas/AP College Football

Georgia Tech Football   Georgia Tech intercepted Wake Forest's 2-point play for the win in overtime to help the 16th-ranked Yellow Jackets edge the Demon Deacons 30-29 on Saturday, capping a wild day that saw them rally from 17 down in the third quarter to stay unbeaten. Haynes King ran for two touchdowns to lead the Yellow Jackets (5-0, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), including a tough 2-yard keeper to start the OT.

The Demon Deacons (2-2, 0-2) responded with Demond Claiborne's next-play 25-yard scoring run to the left pylon. But with Claiborne shaken up on the play and quarterback Robby Ashford hobbled, first-year coach Jake Dickert played for the win. Ashford rolled to his right looking for a target, but ultimately had to force the ball back toward the middle - where E.J. Lightsey picked it off at the goal line to end it. That sent the Yellow Jackets on the field to celebrate. Ashford and multiple of his teammates, meanwhile, were left squatting in disbelief. Claiborne ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns while Ashford ran for one of his own, helping the Demon Deacons lead 20-3 by early in the third quarter. - Georgia Tech/AP College Football

Louisville Football   Miller Moss passed for 339 yards and three touchdowns - including two in the fourth quarter - and Louisville remained unbeaten by rallying past Pittsburgh 34-27 on Saturday. The Cardinals (4-0, 1-0 ACC) trailed by 17 points in the first quarter and 10 at halftime but dug their way out behind Moss and a defense that kept the Panthers (2-2, 0-1) in check in the second half. Moss connected with tight end Jaleel Skinner for a 12-yard score to tie it at 27 with 10:49 remaining. Louisville linebacker T.J. Quinn then stepped in front of an Eli Rothstein pass in Pitt territory to give the Cardinals the ball back.

It took Moss all of five plays to guide Louisville 30 yards, the last eight coming on a lob to the corner of the end zone to Nate Kurisky that gave the Cardinals their first lead of the day. Chris Bell caught 10 passes for 135 yards and a score for Louisville. Caullin Lacy added 95 yards receiving as the Cardinals improved to 4-0 for the second time in coach Jeff Brohm's three seasons at his alma mater. Holstein completed 14 of 26 for 226 yards with two touchdowns and two picks before being pulled in favor of Cole Gonzales after his second interception set up Louisville's go-ahead touchdown. Gonzales managed to produce one first down but not another, and the Cardinals bled most of the rest of the 2:46 remaining before picking off Gonzales in the waning seconds. - Louisville/AP College Football

Dartmouth Football   Grayson Saunier threw for a career-best 407 yards, including a 50-yard connection with KyDric Fisher with 16 seconds to go to give Dartmouth a 35-28 win over Central Connecticut on Saturday. The Blue Devils had put together a 12-play, 80-yard drive to tie the game on a 5-yard pass from Brady Olson to Michael Trovarelli with 58-seconds left. Saunier then complete three-straight short passes to get the ball to midfield. After an incompletion he found Fisher behind the defense deep down the right sideline. Central Connecticut then got a 35-yard kickoff return to get the ball near midfield. There was an incompletion, then a short-pass, lateral and lost fumble on the final play of the game.

Saunier was 30-of-44 passing with a 71-yard touchdown pass to Grayson O'Bara, who had seven catches for a career-high 128 yards for the Big Green (2-0). D.J. Crowther had 86 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Olson was 25 of 33 for 223 yards and three touchdowns for the Blue Devils (2-2). He sandwiched short touchdown passes to David Pardo and Paul Marsh Jr., around Crowther's first TD for a 14-7 lead.   Notre Dame Football   CJ Carr matched a Notre Dame freshman record with four touchdown passes and Jeremiyah Love caught two scoring passes and rushed for two more scores as the No. 22 Fighting Irish beat Arkansas 56-13 Saturday. Carr went 22 for 30 passing for 354 yards and matched the TD passing record set by Ron Powlus, who threw for four scores in his first career game against Northwestern in 1994. Carr, a redshirt freshman, threw for 294 yards and the four TDs in the first half, leading scoring drives of 75, 73, 75, 70, 75 and 45 yards. He did not play in the fourth quarter as Notre Dame led by 36 points. Love caught TD passes of 7 and 34 yards, and had scoring runs of 1 and 3 yards, finishing with 14 carries and 57 yards.

Also for Notre Dame (2-2), Jadarian Price scored twice, on a 35-yard strike from Carr and on a 3-yard run. Carr also found Will Pauling with a 23-yard TD strike, and Aneyas Williams completed Notre Dame's scoring with a 17-yard run in the fourth quarter. Arkansas' defense allowed 420 yards in the first half and 643 in the game. Notre Dame converted one fourth down and three third downs on what looked to be its final drive of the second quarter as Love capped a 12-play, 75-yard drive from three yards out. But, Raylen Sharpe fumbled on Arkansas' next offensive play, giving the ball back to the Fighting Irish at the Arkansas 45 with 19 seconds left in the half. Carr completed a 10-yard pass to Jordan Faison, then tied Powlus' mark with a strike to Price, who raced from one side of the field to the other, needing to shake off just one arm tackle before scoring. Arkansas (2-3) quarterback Taylen Green, who entered the game tied for third in FBS in touchdown passes, couldn't muster a response. He finished 17 of 32 passing for 207 yards with an interception and no touchdowns. - Notre Dame/AP College Football

Texas Tech Football   Tawee Walker scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with 29 seconds left to lift Cincinnati to a 37-34 victory over Kansas on Saturday. The Bearcats (3-1, 1-0 Big 12) drove 75 yards in 1:16 for the game-winning score. Jalon Daniels put Kansas (3-2, 1-1) ahead 34-30 with 1:45 left when he found Levi Wentz for a 6-yard touchdown. But there was too much time for Brendan Sorsby and the Bearcats. Sorsby was 29 of 43 for 388 yards and two touchdowns for Cincinnati. Daniels threw for four touchdowns and 445 yards. Kansas took the opening drive of the second half and marched 75 yards for the tying score. Daniels found Boden Groen on a 24-yard, wide-open touchdown pass. But Cincinnati answered with a 14-yard Sorsby to Cyrus Allen touchdown to retake the lead.

Daniels found Emmanuel Henderson for a 75-yard touchdown to tie the game at 27-all. Cincinnati had first-and-goal inside the 1-yard line but had to settle for a 24-yard Stephen Rusnak field goal. Kansas struck quickly on a 93-yard touchdown pass from Daniels to Henderson on the Jayhawks' first play from scrimmage. Cincinnati responded with a methodical 13-play, 75-yard drive, capped by a 2-yard touchdown run by Walker. The Bearcats attempted and succeeded on two fourth-down conversions on the drive. Cincinnati appeared to score on an 88-yard punt return just before halftime, but it was nullified by an illegal-block penalty. The Bearcats still drove from their own 6 to the Kansas 25, using a 43-yard field goal by Rusnak for a 20-13 halftime lead. - Cincinnati/AP College Football

Kansas Football   Avery Johnson threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns, Dylan Edwards ran for 166 yards and another score, and Kansas State held on to beat UCF 34-20 on Saturday for its first Big 12 win of the season. Johnson also ran for 75 yards, and the Wildcats (2-3, 1-1) piled up 268 yards on the ground, while their defense made a critical fourth-down stop with just over 4 minutes left after the Knights (3-1, 0-1) had closed to within 31-20. Tayven Jackson, who missed a chunk of the game with an injury, returned to throw for 115 yards for UCF, which had won its last 16 games under Scott Frost dating to his first tenure with the program. Myles Montgomery had 119 yards rushing. Kansas State has never lost to UCF in three meetings.

The Knights were rolling off a 34-9 rout of North Carolina, but Kansas State must have had plenty of time to scout them during their bye. The Wildcats shut down the UCF offense even before Jackson got hurt with 10:48 left in the first half. UCF finally got a big play moments later, when Brown hit DJ Black down the sideline. Kansas State's Wesley Fair missed a tackle, and the resulting 82-yard TD reception was the longest by a Knights player since Doug Gabriel's 83-yarder in 2001. But the Wildcats answered with a 73-yard touchdown march, and Will Anciaux's catch gave them a 17-7 lead at the break. Not much changed after halftime. Brown and the Knights went three-and-out to start the third quarter, and Kansas State added to the lead with another long touchdown drive. And when Jackson's surprising return sparked the UCF offense, Brown came in to run a sneak on fourth down, and the backup quarterback promptly fumbled the ball away. Edwards added a 75-yard touchdown run later in the third quarter, helping to put the game out of UCF's reach. - Kansas State/AP College Football

Lehigh Football   Luke Yoder ran for two touchdowns and Hayden Johnson threw for two, leading Lehigh to a 44-30 victory over Pennsylvania on Saturday. Yoder carried seven times in a nine-play drive and his 25-yard touchdown run with about a minute to play gave the Mountain Hawks their 44-30 lead. Yoder, who had a career-high 174 yards rushing last week in a win over Bucknell, was credited with 173 yards against Penn. Johnson completed 15 of 31 passes for 240 yards and the Mountain Hawks (No. 9 FCS coaches poll, 5-0) had 299 yards on the ground for a total of 539 yards. Geoffrey Jamiel had eight receptions for 132 yards.

Liam O'Brien threw three touchdown passes for Penn, the last covering 18 yards to Jared Richardson that drew the Quakers within 30-27 in the fourth quarter. But O'Brien was intercepted by Tyler Ochojski on the Quakers' next possession and Yoder's 1-yard touchdown run capped a 20-yard drive. Mason Walters kicked a 32-yard field goal on Penn's next possession to make it 37-30 before Lehigh wrapped it up with a nine-play, 75-yard drive in which Yoder did most of the work. O'Brien was 28-of-37 passing for 316 yards. Richardson had 141 yards receiving with two touchdowns, but the Quakers (1-1) had only 29 yards rushing. Johnson's 22-yard touchdown pass to Matt D'Avino combined with three field goals by Nick Garrido led Lehigh to a 16-14 halftime lead. Lehigh took a 48-15 lead in the series with the Quakers. Lehigh has won 14 of the last 21 meetings dating back to 1975. The teams first met in 1885. - AP College Football

Minnesota Football   Drake Lindsay threw for 324 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday as Minnesota rallied to defeat Rutgers 31-28. Playing with out their top two running backs, the Golden Gophers (3-1, 1-0 in the Big Ten) had problems establishing a ground game, rushing for just 35 yards. But Lindsay, their freshman quarterback, completed 31 of 41 passes, using the short passing game to control the clock and help Minnesota recover from a 14-0 deficit.

Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis, who spent three years in the Minnesota program and was the Gophers' starter as a redshirt sophomore in 2023, threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns. Antwan Raymond rushed for a career-high 161 yards and two scores for the Scarlet Knights (3-2, 0-2). The Golden Gophers trailed 28-24 when they got the ball back with 6:24 to play. Lindsay went 6 for 7 for 72 yards and found Javon Tracy from 4 yards out to give Minnesota the lead. Rutgers then moved the ball to Minnesota's 26, but a miscommunication on a shotgun snap cost the Scarlet Knights 15 yards.   Miami Football   Darian Mensah threw two touchdown passes to Cooper Barkate, Nate Sheppard ran for two more, and Duke scored 35 unanswered points in routing Syracuse 38-3 Saturday. Mensah, who now has 13 touchdown passes, was 22 of 28 for 268 yards. Sheppard had 168 yards on 15 carries for the Blue Devils (3-2, 2-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), including scoring runs of 49 and 12 yards. Que'sean Brown and Sahmir Hagans had five catches each for 64 and 59 yards, respectively. Duke amassed 504 yards of total offense averaging nearly 8 yards per play. Syracuse (3-2, 1-1 ACC) quarterback Rickie Collins, making his first collegiate start replacing Steve Angeli, out for the season with a torn Achilles, was 24 of 37 for 229 yards. Johntay Cook had eight receptions for 84 yards but fumbled twice, one on a controversial play that shifted the game's momentum.

Yasin Wllis ran for 63 yards. The game turned early in the second quarter with Syracuse trailing 10-3 and driving. Collins hit Cook on a 19-yard pass play to the Duke 39. The Blue Devils were called for targeting, but after a lengthy review, officials ruled Cook fumbled. The ball was recovered by Bradley Gompers and the Blue Devils scored just three plays later on a 34-yard strike from Mensah to Barkate, extending the margin to 17-3. Syracuse never threatened after that. Things looked promising at the start for Collins as he completed his first pass to Cook for 18 yards, but his next attempt was batted down. Collins completed his third pass to Cook but Duke safety Caleb Weaver intercepted his next attempt and returned it 40 yards, setting up a 22-yard field goal by Todd Pelino. Syracuse tied the score at 3 on a 29-yard field goal by Tripp Woody, but then it was all Duke, who led 24-3 at the half. - Duke/AP College Football
