Bucknell Football   Ralph Rucker IV threw for a touchdown and rushed for another score, Brad Gerken sealed the game with an interception and Bucknell defeated Saint Francis 30-23 on Saturday night. Rucker had a 17-yard touchdown connection with TJ Cadden on the opening drive. He led a fourth-quarter drive to reclaim the lead from Saint Francis, finding Josh Gary for a two-point conversion after Tariq Thomas' 7-yard touchdown run. Thomas led Bucknell with 98 yards on 10 carries. Rucker had 168 yards through the air and 69 on the ground.

Rucker's two-point conversion came into play after kicker Matt Schearer missed the extra point following Rucker's third-quarter rushing score. Saint Francis moved the ball almost exclusively through the air and nearly mounted a comeback with the aerial assault. Nick Whitfield Jr. was 31 for 44 for 377 yards and a touchdown. He threw a game-sealing interception to Gerken on a second-and-goal that was snapped with seven seconds remaining. DJ Maultsby had 141 receiving yards and a touchdown on nine catches.   Eastern Kentucky Football   Kaden Smith returned an interception for a touchdown and the go-ahead score, highlighting Eastern Kentucky's 27-7 victory over Nicholls on Saturday night. Nicholls scored first, on a 60-yard pass from Deuce Hogan to Miequle Brock Jr. on the third play of the game, but Nicholls didn't score again. Eastern Kentucky didn't allow a drive of more than 20 yards in the second half until the last possession by Nicholls.   Toledo Football   CJ Miller rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns, Braden Atkinson threw three touchdown passes, and Mercer overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat East Tennessee State 38-34 on Saturday night. Mercer (3-1, 3-0 Southern Conference), No. 23 in the FCS coaches poll, led on a field goal with 10:09 in the first quarter, but didn't reclaim the lead again until the 5:40 mark in the fourth quarter. After Atkinson's lone interception in the third quarter, Cade McNamara returned the favor with one of his own.

Atkinson capitalized with his third touchdown pass, connecting with Brayden Smith to cut the deficit to 34-31 with 11:29 remaining. Miller punched in a 1-yard run for a touchdown to reclaim the lead. Mercer's Andrew Zock sacked McNamara to stall the ensuing drive. While the Buccaneers forced a stop to get the ball back with 2:03 remaining, McNamara threw a second interception on the final drive. Hakeem Meggett, who caught three touchdown passes and had 119 receiving yards, slipped on his route, allowing Kaleb Hutchinson to ice the game with the turnover.   Oregon Football   Dillon Thieneman intercepted Drew Allar's pass in the second overtime period and No. 6 Oregon outlasted No. 3 Penn State 30-24 on Saturday night. Jamari Johnson ran for a touchdown in overtime, Dierre Hill Jr. caught a touchdown pass, Jordan Davison ran for another score and Atticus Sappington kicked a field goal for the Ducks (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) who won their FBS-leading 23rd straight regular-season game. They also improved to 12-0 in regular-season Big Ten play and did so in one of college football's most hostile environments, winning the rematch of last season's conference championship game. They did so despite 111,015 fans - most of them clad in all white - trying to lift Penn State in the final minutes. They nearly did so.

Trailing 17-10, Penn State got the ball with 7:07 left to play. An offense that had managed just 189 yards to that point drove down the field where Allar hooked up with Devonte Ross for a 7-yard touchdown to force overtime. Ross caught a 35-yarder from Allar earlier in the fourth, but it wasn't enough to keep Penn State from falling to 4-21 against AP Top 10 teams since James Franklin became coach. Kaytron Allen scored the opening touchdown in overtime before Johnson equaled it. Allar was intercepted on Penn State's next play. Oregon kept Allar from getting into a rhythm while holding Nittany Lion tailbacks Allen and Nicholas Singleton to 18 rushing yards over the first two quarters. The Nittany Lions punted three times, but got a 49-yard field goal from Ryan Barker to take a 3-0 lead with 13:26 left in the first half. Meanwhile, Penn State's defense was just as tough. The Nittany Lions forced a punt, a turnover on downs and a missed field goal before Sappington nailed a 42-yarder to tie it 3:42 before halftime. - Oregon/AP College Football

South Carolina Football   South Carolina's defense returned two turnovers for touchdowns within a span of three plays on Saturday night and the Gamecocks beat Kentucky, 35-13. The Wildcats (2-2, 0-2 SEC) were gashing South Carolina with the run and held a 10-7 lead in the second quarter. Quarterback Cutter Boley was sacked by Dylan Stewart, the ball popped loose and defensive lineman Jatius Geer retrieved it, chugging 40 yards for a touchdown.

Two plays later, Boley cast into the secondary but his pass clanged off the hands of Kendrick Law. South Carolina's Gerald Kilgore gobbled the carom and sprinted 45 yards to the end zone. Trailing 21-10, the Wildcats tried to get their offense back in gear. Boley again threw deep but was belted by Desmond Umeozulu on the throw. South Carolina's Brandon Cisse intercepted to start another touchdown drive.   Stanford Football   Sedrick Irvin scored on a 1-yard run with 19 seconds left to cap Stanford's rally from a 12-point deficit in the fourth quarter to beat San Jose State 30-29 on Saturday. The Spartans (1-3) went up 26-14 in the opening minute of the fourth quarter on Walker Eget's third touchdown pass of the day. But Ben Gulbranson drove the Cardinals (2-3) to three straight scores to generate the thrilling win. Irvin ran it in on the next play. Gulbranson finished 29 for 43 for 444 yards and two touchdowns for the Cardinal. Eget went 36 for 58 for 473 yards and three TDs but couldn't lead a last-ditch drive and the Spartans fell short of their first road win against Stanford since 2000.
