Clemson Football   Antonio Williams threw a 75-yard trick-play touchdown pass to T.J. Moore on the first offensive snap to start Clemson's dominating show in a 38-10 win at North Carolina on Saturday. The coaching matchup of Clemson's Dabo Swinney and North Carolina's Bill Belichick became a romp by the Tigers (2-3, 1-2 Atlantic Coast Conference), who quickly overwhelmed the Tar Heels (2-3, 0-1) then cruised through the second half.

Clemson scored 28 points while averaging 15.8 yards per play in the opening quarter. Cade Klubnik threw four TD passes by halftime - two each to Adam Randall and Christian Bentancur - before giving way in the third to reserve Christopher Vizzina. Max Johnson threw for 213 yards in starting for the injured Gio Lopez for UNC, while Benjamin Hall ran for a fourth-quarter touchdown with the outcome long decided. The Tigers had largely driven most of the home fans to the Kenan Stadium exits by halftime with a 35-3 lead, another telling visual of how UNC's bet on hiring the 73-year-old Belichick as a first-time college coach has gone so far. - Clemson/AP College Football

Baylor Football   Connor Hawkins kicked a 53-yard field goal with 31 seconds left after Jacob Redding's go-ahead 66-yard interception return for a touchdown as Baylor rallied twice in the fourth quarter for a 35-34 victory over Kansas State on Saturday. Hawkins matched the longest kick of his career after Luis Rodriguez had put the Wildcats in front with a 22-yard field goal with 1:48 remaining. Kansas State (2-4, 1-2 Big 12) had to settle for the kick after having a first down at the Baylor 2-yard line. Rodriguez had a chance for a game-winner from 56 yards, but 6-foot-4 defensive end Cooper Lanz blocked it with 2 seconds to go. The Bears (4-2, 2-1) held on two weeks after losing to Arizona State on a game-ending field goal in their previous home game.

Michael Trigg had career highs with eight catches for 155 yards and sparked Baylor's rally from a 14-point deficit with a 42-yard grab a play before making a spectacular one-handed catch while getting one foot down on the sideline. Sawyer Robertson's 11-yard scoring pass to Bryson Washington came on the next play, and Robertson's conversion run cut Baylor's deficit to 31-25. Avery Johnson, who threw for touchdowns and ran for a score, had kept a potential clock-killing drive alive with two third-down conversions but he threw into traffic on first down in Baylor territory with the six-point lead. Redding picked off the pass, ran left up the sideline and cut back inside with the speedy Johnson pursuing to finish off the score untouched. Baylor had earlier pulled within six on quarterback Sawyer Robertson's 2-point conversion run after his TD pass to Bryson Washington, Hawkins' PAT kick put the Bears in front 32-31. Johnson's 12-yard scoring pass to Jayce Brown broke a 17-17 halftime tie, and the Wildcats went up two touchdowns on Dylan Edwards' 5-yard run late in the third quarter. - Baylor/AP College Football

The Wolverines (4-1, 2-0 Big Ten) pulled away in the second half when Underwood threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Donaven McCulley late in the third quarter and Haynes had his second short touchdown run early in the fourth. The Badgers (2-3, 0-2) opened the game with a 12-play, 75-yard touchdown drive that took nearly seven minutes off the clock and didn't score again until Nathanial Vakos kicked a 39-yard field goal late in the game. Underwood, the nation's No. 1 recruit last year, completed 19 of 28 passes and had some drops by his teammates.

Haynes had 19 carries, including one for 43 yards against a defense that led major college football by allowing just 50 yards rushing per game. The Alabama transfer has run for 100-plus yards in each game this season. Southern Illinois transfer QB Hunter Simmons made his first start for the Badgers in place of Danny O'Neil, who had as many touchdowns (five) as interceptions while filling in for injured quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. Simmons was 18 of 29 for 177 yards with an interception. Dilin Jones had 17 carries for 63 yards, most on the game-opening drive, and scored on a 5-yard run to give Wisconsin the lead briefly. - Michigan/AP College Football

Duke Football   Koron Hayward and Dylan Flowers made game-changing defensive plays in the third quarter and Jaylen Lewis made a stop on fourth-and-1 in the closing minutes as Western Kentucky rallied for a 27-24 over Delaware on Friday night. Three snaps after the Hilltoppers kicked a field goal on the opening drive of the second half, Hayward had a 25-yard pick-6 that put them ahead 20-17.

The Blue Hens quickly went 80 yards on the ensuing possession, but on second-and-goal from the 4, Flowers hit quarterback Nick Minicucci as he neared the end zone and Elin Jones recovered it in the end zone.   USC Football   No. 14 Iowa State's secondary will be without longtime starters Jontez Williams and Jeremiah Cooper the rest of the season because of knee injuries. Coach Matt Campbell announced Tuesday that Williams damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee late in the Cyclones' 39-14 win over Arizona on Saturday. Cooper tore his ACL in practice last week. The two have combined for 55 starts.

Williams, an Associated Press All-Big 12 second team pick in 2024, had one interception and two pass breakups this season. He was hurt with 3 minutes left against Arizona as he dove in an attempt to knock a ball away from a receiver. "So that's a situation that really stinks for the kid," Campbell said. "But, man, just how he's handled it has been uber impressive. And, a great human. He'll be back ready to rock and roll next year." Cooper has made 36 starts since 2022 and was an AP All-Big 12 first-team pick at safety in 2023. He switched to cornerback full-time this season and had an interception and three pass breakups through four games. Tre Bell, a transfer from Lindenwood, made his first start for the Cyclones in Cooper's place against Arizona. Quinten Taylor Jr., who played 26 snaps against Arizona, would be in line to make his first start when the Cyclones (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) visit Cincinnati (3-1, 1-0) on Saturday. - AP College Football
