Hopkins was credited with five total tackles by the Mizzou coaching staff with four solo stops, and he registered a career-best 1.5 sacks for minus-18 yards along with five quarterback pressures. He also accounted for a pass deflection and forced a Kansas fumble. He finished third on the defense with six total tackles, including a team-high-tying two sacks for minus-12 yards, and added a forced fumble on his sack midway through the third quarter. The forced fumble gave Alabama the ball back deep in Kentucky territory and led to the eventual go-ahead touchdown. 09/14 WEEK 2 SEC CO-OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: Trevor Goosby, Texas, Position: Offensive Tackle,...Texas' Trevor Goosby, a senior offensive tackle from Melissa, Texas, was the top-graded offensive lineman and allowed no sacks or pressures to help the Longhorns to the first 20-plus-point comeback in the fourth quarter against a No. 1 team in 22 years in a 24-23 victory over No. 1 Ohio State. The Texas offense manufactured three consecutive touchdown drives to end the game - all of at least 12 plays and 72 yards - to rally from a 23-3 deficit. Texas became the only team in the past 15 years to close a victory with three straight touchdown drives of 12 or more plays, which were 15, 13 and 12 plays, respectively, and those included fourth-down conversions in Texas territory that kept the first two of the scoring drives alive.

It marked the third-largest comeback win by any FBS team against an AP No. 1 team this century, while Texas became the first non-conference opponent this century to score 21-plus points in the fourth quarter against Ohio State (first overall team since Michigan in 2022). During the fourth quarter, the Longhorns compiled 150 yards of total offense, including 83 in the air and 67 on the ground, outgaining the Buckeyes 150-52. Including the final drive of the third quarter, Texas totaled 236 total yards in the last 21 minutes of the game. - SEC Football

His 10-yard run, punctuated with a high-flying dive into the end zone, gave the Cowboys the lead for good in the fourth quarter. The North Texas transfer finished with a career-high 109 rushing yards, passed for 317 and had a hand in three touchdowns as the Cowboys won as 24 1/2-point underdogs and ended a 21-game losing streak against Football Bowl Subdivision opponents. Mestemaker, who was 26 of 43 with two interceptions, became the first Oklahoma State quarterback with 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in the same game since Spencer Sanders had 371 passing yards and 125 rushing yards against No. 5 Notre Dame in the 2022 Fiesta Bowl. Smith, who had a combined seven catches for 46 yards in two previous meetings with the Longhorns, had a pair of 43-yard receptions while amassing the second-most receiving yards in a game in his career. He has 2,873 career receiving yards and goes into Saturday's game against Kent State needing 26 to break Michael Jenkins' record of 2,898 from 2000-03. - AP College Football
