Navy Football   Eli Heidenreich caught five passes for 146 yards and became Navy's all-time receiving yards leader, quarterback Braxton Woodson ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns in the fourth quarter in relief of Blake Horvath and the Midshipmen defeated No. 25 South Florida 41-38 on Saturday. Alex Tecza carried 12 times for 126 yards, including an early 76-yard score, and caught Horvath's lone touchdown pass as Navy (8-2, 6-1 American Athletic Conference) secured a half-game lead in the conference.

Heidenreich has 1,794 career receiving yards and moved past Rob Thompson's 1,736, compiled from 1965-67. Byrum Brown threw for 327 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 136 yards and two more scores for South Florida (7-3, 4-2), which scored 22 points in the fourth quarter yet lost its second consecutive road game. The Bulls also lost ground in their bid to reach the conference championship game. After Heidenreich earlier career-long 82-yard catch from Horvath set up Brandon Chatman's 4-yard touchdown run to make it 14-3 at the end of the first quarter, his 32-yard catch from Woodson was a crucial moment during an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive that ended with Woodson's 20-yard scoring run to make it 34-24. On Navy's next possession, Woodson ran 64 yards for the Midshipmen's third play of 60 or more yards to make it 41-30. - AP College Football

Texas AM Football   Marcel Reed threw for a career-high 439 yards and three touchdowns and No. 3 Texas A&M rallied from a 27-point halftime deficit to remain undefeated with a 31-30 victory over South Carolina on Saturday. "I'm not lost for words very much, but I was lost for words with the team in the locker room after the game," coach Mike Elko said. "A lot of that emotion was just pride in who they were, how they conducted themselves. There's not a lot of teams that have a culture and a core that will just keep going." The comeback was the biggest in school history, eclipsing a 21-point rally by a Johnny Manziel-led team in a 52-48 win in the 2013 Chick-Fil-A Bowl over Duke. Entering Saturday, teams were 0-286 in Southeastern Conference play since 2004 when trailing by 27 points or more. Reed bounced back from an awful first half where he was intercepted twice and had a fumble returned for a score to put the Aggies in a 30-3 hole with a dazzling second half to keep Texas A&M (10-0, 7-0, No. 3 CFP) on track for its first trip to the College Football Playoff. They're 10-0 for the first time since 1992.

Last season, Texas A&M had a seven-game winning streak entering the game against South Carolina before a 44-20 defeat sent the team into a downward spiral that knocked them out of contention to reach the playoff. "We wanted revenge on this team," Reed said. "They put us out of the question last year, and they could have put us in a bad position this year... we got this win, and it was important for us." The Aggies took the lead for the first time on a 4-yard run by EJ Smith with about 11 minutes left. Texas A&M had a first down at the 1 after that, but Jamarion Morrow fumbled on a trick play and the Gamecocks recovered with about three minutes to go. Dalton Brooks and Cashius Howell sacked LaNorris Sellers on consecutive plays to bring up fourth-and-16 with about 90 seconds to go. Sellers scrambled on fourth down and was stopped short of the first down marker to seal the victory. "It wasn't how we drew it up," linebacker Taurean York said. "But we found a way to stick together and figure out how to win the game." Sellers threw for 246 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for South Carolina (3-7, 1-7), which lost a fifth straight game. - Texas AM/AP College Football

Notre Dame Football   Jeremiyah Love ran for 147 yards and a score, Malachi Fields hauled in a pair of touchdown passes and No. 9 Notre Dame breezed past No. 23 Pittsburgh 37-15 on Saturday. The Fighting Irish (8-2) have won eight straight games by an average of 26 points since their 0-2 start. Notre Dame likely needs to merely avoid upset bids by Syracuse or Stanford to end the season to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff. Love gave his burgeoning Heisman Trophy campaign a boost by finishing with 167 yards of total offense, the highlight coming on a 56-yard sprint to the end zone in the first quarter that included a spin move at midfield that left Pitt's Kavir Bains-Marquez grasping at air.

Notre Dame's Tae Johnson picked off Heintschel on the next play from scrimmage and raced 48 yards to the end zone to give the Irish an early 14-point lead they never squandered. C.J. Carr threw for 212 yards with two interceptions and touchdown passes of 25 and 6 yards to Fields. The 6-foot-4 Fields made a leaping grab at the goal line to secure the first score late in the first half, then effectively put the game out of reach early in the second half by barrelling into the end zone against a game but ineffective Pitt defense that was physically overmatched at times. It was much the same on the other side of the ball, as Notre Dame kept Panthers true freshman quarterback Mason Heintschel in check. Pitt's rise to near the top of the ACC standings began when Heintschel supplanted Eli Holstein to start October. Heintschel's impressive start hit its first significant speed bump against an Irish defense that gave him little time or space to work. Heintschel completed just 16 of 33 passes for 126 yards with an interception while getting sacked four times. He had a 2-point conversion attempt late in the third quarter returned 100-plus yards the other way by Irish safety Adon Shuler to put Notre Dame up 30-9 and end any remote chance of a comeback after a pick-6 by Pitt's Rasheem Biles had briefly given the Panthers a jolt. - Notre Dame/AP College Football

South Florida Football   D.J. Crowther scored a pair of rushing touchdowns and ran for a career-high 197 yards to lead Dartmouth 24-14 past Cornell on Saturday. Crowther, the second-leading rusher in the Ivy League, racked up his third 100-yard game of the season on 31 carries. He gave Dartmouth (7-2, 4-2 Ivy) a 10-7 lead at the 3:04 mark of the second quarter with a 67-yard scamper, and the Big Green never relinquished the lead again. He added his second score, a 20-yard rush, on the other side of the break.

Grayson Saunier added a 1-yard sneak at the 14:17 mark of the fourth quarter. Saunier was 13-of-23 passing for 122 yards. Garrett Bass-Sulpizio accounted for both scores for Cornell, keeping a 3-yard rush in the second quarter, and finding TJ Hamilton for a 33-yard touchdown in the fourth. Bass-Sulpizio was 37-of-45 passing for 328 yards. The loss snaps a streak of four-straight wins for the Big Red (4-5, 3-3), after opening the season 0-4. - AP College Football

Duquesne Football   Taj Butts rushed for a career-high 254 yards and scored three touchdowns, Antonio Epps intercepted a deflected pass in the end zone with less than 30 seconds to go and Duquesne defeated Central Connecticut State 38-33 on Saturday. Brady Olson, who threw for 423 yards and four touchdowns, gave the Blue Devils a 33-32 with two long touchdown passes in the fourth quarter. Butts, who had missed several games with an injury, burst up the middle for a 59-yard score with 3:19 to play. Olson guided the Blue Devils down field but his last pass was broken up by Henry Pickens III and Epps was there to grab the loose ball.

Butts carried only 14 times for the Dukes (6-5, 4-2 NEC) ,with his other two scoring runs covering 29 and 57 yards. Duquesne quarterback Tyler Riddell had three touchdown passes, two to Joey Isabella.   LSU Football   Kansas State forced five turnovers in a 14-6 win over Oklahoma State on Saturday. All of the Wildcats' points came off those turnovers. Kansas State, which had averaged 34.2 points in its previous five games, was held to 284 yards. Despite that, the Wildcats have won three of four. Avery Johnson passed for 177 yards and Joe Jackson added 69 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Wildcats (5-5, 4-3 Big 12), who need one more win to become bowl eligible. Zane Flores passed for 233 yards for Oklahoma State (1-9, 0-7), but he threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles. Oklahoma State has lost nine straight, and seven straight under interim coach Doug Meacham.

Kansas State did not score until eight minutes into the second quarter. The Wildcats got a first down by penalty after it appeared the Cowboys stopped them on a fourth-and-1, and Jayce Brown caught a 34-yard touchdown pass from Johnson on the next play. The extra point put Kansas State up 7-6 - a score that held up at halftime. An interception by Oklahoma State's Parker Robertson early in the third quarter set the Cowboys up deep in Kansas State territory. Kansas State's Jackson ran 15 yards for a touchdown to put the Wildcats up 14-6 in the fourth quarter.
