Florida International Football   Joe Pesansky threw a go-ahead touchdown pass in overtime and Mister Clark intercepted Ethan Vasko to seal Florida International's 34-27 victory over Liberty on Saturday. Pesansky rallied Florida International (5-5, 3-3 Conference USA) with a 7-yard toss to Maguire Anderson and Clark ended matters six plays later. It came after Jay Billingsley kicked two field goals in the final 2:48 for Liberty (4-6, 3-3) to force overtime. He tied it with a 48-yarder with a second left. Keegan Davis sacked Vasko to set up fourth-and-6 and then forced Vasko to hurry the pass that Clark intercepted. Vasko opened the scoring with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Donte Lee Jr., but Pesansky answered with a 6-yard touchdown run to tie it at 7 after a quarter.

The Flames took a 14-7 lead on Vaughn Blue's 2-yard touchdown run. FIU followed with Kejon Owens' 9-yard scoring run to tie it. Liberty moved ahead 21-14 on a 1-yard scoring plunge by Evan Dickens. Noah Grant's 39-yard field goal with 1:49 remaining cut it to 21-17 at halftime. FIU took its first lead at 24-21 on Pesansky's 8-yard touchdown pass to Alex Perry early in the third. Grant's 40-yard field goal early in the fourth upped the lead to six. Pesansky completed 24 of 34 passes for 206 yards. Vasko totaled 218 yards on 17-for-31 passing with two interceptions. Dickens carried 28 times for 106 yards. - FIU/AP College Football

Wake Forest Football   Wake Forest's Carlos Hernandez scored two touchdowns, including one by returning a teammate's fumble, on plays that caught North Carolina off guard and the Demon Deacons didn't allow a touchdown in a 28-12 victory Saturday. Hernandez racked up 100 receiving yards on six catches and Robby Ashford threw for a touchdown and ran for another for Wake Forest (7-3, 4-3 Atlantic Coast Conference). Demond Claiborne ran for 98 yards, including a 12-yard touchdown. It marked the first victory for first-year coach Jake Dickert against an in-state conference rival.

North Carolina's Rece Verhoff kicked four field goals, including a record-setting boot, but he had two other attempts blocked. The Tar Heels (4-6, 2-4) had a two-game winning streak snapped. They'll have to win their final two games against in-state rivals to reach bowl eligibility in coach Bill Belichick's first season as a college head coach. Ashford was 15-for-25 passing for 191 yards and also picked up 50 yards on the ground, with his 2-yard, fourth-down TD run coming with 22 seconds left.   Nicholls Football   Shane Lee's 4-yard touchdown run in the middle of the fourth quarter - his third touchdown of the game - was the only score of the second half, lifting Nicholls to a 26-21 victory over Northwestern State on Saturday night. Northwestern State took a 21-19 halftime lead when Ty Moore caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Abram Johnston. The short drive was set up when Northwestern's Joe Natali recovered a muffed punt at the 36-yard line.

Nicholls' go-ahead score capped a 12-play, 66-yard drive that nearly ended when the Demons' Ja'Marion Bonner returned an interception 79 yards to the 1-yard line. However, the play was negated by offsetting penalties. Lee scored four plays later. Lee, a freshman, established his career high with 134 yards for the Colonels (4-7, 4-3 Southland Conference). His three touchdowns, also a career high, doubled his season total. Johnston had 90 yards rushing with two touchdowns for Northwestern State (1-10, 0-7). - AP College Football

Northern Arizona (7-4, 4-3 Big Sky Conference), which has won three of its last four games, stopped two Cal Poly drives deep inside its own territory with less than three minutes to play. The pair connected on a 75-yard touchdown just before halftime that gave the Lumberjacks a 22-10 lead. Seth Cromwell added 85 yards rushing on 16 carries. Pennington's fourth TD pass, a 38-yarder to Katsis, stretched Northern Arizona's lead to 29-17 early in the third quarter. Samuel Hunsaker kicked a 42-yard field goal to give the Lumberjacks a 32-20 lead heading into the fourth.

Quarterback Anthony Grigsby Jr. had a short-yardage touchdown run to cap a 7-play, 60-yard drive to pull Cal Poly to 32-27 with 7:44 to play, but Hunsaker added a 37-yard field goal with about five minutes left.   Oklahoma Football   Oklahoma's playmaking defense traveled great again Saturday, this time coming up with 17 points off three turnovers to shovel more chaos into the Southeastern Conference and the College Football Playoff pictures with a 23-21 upset of Alabama. The 11th-ranked Sooners (8-2, 4-2 SEC, No. 11 CFP) backed up their win two weeks ago at Tennessee with an even bigger shocker - this time taking down the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide (8-2, 6-1, No. 4 CFP). Eli Bowen returned an interception 87 yards for a touchdown, Kip Lewis had two sacks and OU snapped 'Bama's 17-game home winning streak while handing its second-year coach, Kalen DeBoer, his first loss at Bryant-Denny Stadium. It probably won't be a fatal blow for Alabama, but now the Tide face a must-win in two weeks against archrival Auburn in the Iron Bowl. And Suddenly, OU's 23-6 loss to its own rival, Texas, feels like a lot longer than four weeks ago. The Sooners were a bubble team in last week's CFP rankings but with this win, they feel like a playoff lock if they can take care of business at home against Missouri and LSU.

The Crimson Tide had a chance late, but Ty Simpson's fourth-down pass to Ryan Williams fell incomplete. The Sooners ran out the clock from there, setting off a raucous celebration by their visiting fans. Oklahoma - a 6-point underdog, according to Sportsbook - managed just 212 yards of offense but had an interception and recovered two fumbles. Oklahoma held Alabama to 57 yards over its last four drives, which proved to be the difference. Quarterback John Mateer managed 161 total yards - 138 passing - and scored on the ground to lead Oklahoma's offense. Simpson threw for 326 yards, with a touchdown to tight end Josh Cuevas and an interception. Daniel Hill scored twice for the Tide. Alabama's plus-10 turnover margin entering Saturday was fourth-best nationally and best in the SEC. But that didn't matter to Oklahoma, which also had three takeaways in a victory at Tennessee last week. Oklahoma has six takeaways in two games after getting just four in its previous seven. And the Sooners have scored 37 points off those turnovers. Despite dominating in nearly every category, a series of errors by Alabama proved decisive. In addition to the turnovers, Alabama missed a 36-yard field goal and allowed a 46-yard punt return that set up Oklahoma's first score. - Oklahoma/AP College Football

Tennessee Football   Joey Aguilar threw for 204 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score to lead No. 21 Tennessee to a 42-9 victory over New Mexico State on Saturday. Aguilar completed a 7-yard pass early in the fourth quarter to extend his streak of games passing for more than 200 yards to 10. DeSean Bishop rushed for 80 yards and a TD for Tennessee (7-3) before leaving with a leg injury.

Logan Fife threw for 166 yards for the Aggies (3-7), who lost their fifth in a row. Isaiah Rudison scored their only TD on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter. Tennessee cornerback William Wright scored on a 35-yard interception return late in the third quarter for the Volunteers' sixth defensive touchdown of the season. In a lackluster first half, Aguilar was intercepted twice, giving him 10 for the season - the most of any Tennessee quarterback under coach Josh Heupel. Aguilar threw for 126 yards and a 15-yard score to Braylon Staley in the first half. He also ran 27 yards for a TD for a 21-3 halftime lead. - AP College Football

Georgia Tech Football   Aidan Birr kicked a 23-yard field goal with 11 seconds left and No. 14 Georgia Tech rallied for a 36-34 victory over Boston College on Saturday to remain tied for first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Haynes King completed 26 of 34 passes for 371 yards and a touchdown as the Yellow Jackets (9-1, 6-1, No. 16 CFP) stayed even with No. 20 Virginia (No. 19 CFP) atop the league standings. Dylan Lonergan went 26 of 40 for 362 yards and two TDs for the Eagles (1-10, 0-7), who lost their 10th straight game. With a solid shot at the ACC championship game and potentially the College Football Playoff, Georgia Tech fell behind early in the second half and trailed 28-17 late in the third quarter. After taking the lead, the Yellow Jackets fell behind again 34-33 when Turbo Richard scored on a 43-yard run up the middle. But the Eagles failed on the 2-point try.

King then marched Georgia Tech 69 yards in 13 plays before Birr's winning kick. The game ended when Lonergan's Hail Mary was batted down near the goal line as time expired. Jordan Allen broke free down the left sideline for a 54-yard touchdown with just over six minutes left, moving the Yellow Jackets ahead 33-28. Georgia Tech had clawed back and cut it to 28-26 on Jamal Haynes' 2-yard score with 7 1/2 minutes to play. But lining up with an unbalanced formation, King was stopped short on the 2-point try. Jordan McDonald's 14-yard TD run pushed BC ahead 21-14 on its first drive of the second half. Birr's 34-yard field goal sliced it to 21-17 before Lonergan engineered a 75-yard drive, capping it off by hitting Reed Harris, who caught a short pass before breaking a couple of tackles and going in for an 18-yard score. Coming off an upset loss at North Carolina State two weeks ago, the Yellow Jackets grabbed a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter when Malik Rutherford caught a short pass near the line of scrimmage and burst free for a 71-yard TD. - Georgia Tech/AP College Football
