  Montana State Football   WEEK 11 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Caden Dowler, Montana State (DB, Jr., Billings, Mont.),...Caden Dowler created two Bobcat takeaways that turned into touchdowns in Montana State's 66-14 rout of Weber State on Saturday. The first turnover came after a Weber State runner gained 36 yards and Dowler chased him down to punch out the ball from behind. The next takeaway came the following drive, as Dowler picked off a pass near midfield and returned it 54 yards to set up another Bobcat touchdown. The interception was the second of Dowler's career, and the forced fumble was his first. Dowler also finished the game with seven tackles, three being solos, and a pass breakup in the MSU win.   San Jose State Football   WEEK 10 BIG SKY SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Trajan Sinatra, Idaho State (K, S., San Jose, Calif.),...Idaho State's Trajan Sinatra delivered the game-winner in the Bengals' 38-36 upset of No. 6 UC Davis, nailing a 50-yard field goal with 52 seconds remaining on the road. The sophomore was a perfect 6-of-6 kicking, converting five PATs and a field goal to total 11 points on the day. Sinatra's kick capped Idaho State's first Top-10 win since 2021. The kick was Sinatra's second made field goal over 50 yards of the 2025 season. The weekly honor is the fourth of the year for Sinatra.   Idaho State Football   WEEK 10 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nathan Reynolds, Idaho State (LB, Jr., Meridian, Idaho.),...Idaho State's Nathan Reynolds anchored the Bengal defense with seven tackles and a game-sealing interception in the 38-36 upset win over No. 6 UC Davis on the road. Reynolds' interception killed the potential UC Davis game-winning drive, as he picked off a pass on the Idaho State 36-yard line with 15 seconds remaining in the game. The Top-10 win for Idaho State was the first for the program since 2021 as Reynolds aided the defensive effort to force three UC Davis turnovers on the day and limit the Aggies to just 2-of-8 on third downs on the day. The redshirt junior rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 9.1 yards per attempt on the day. His 219 yards rushing ranks sixth all-time in Idaho State history and marks the program's first 200-yard rushing performance since 2017. Brooks scored on runs of 57 and 15 yards. The weekly honor is the second of the season for Brooks.   Montana Football   WEEK 9 BIG SKY CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ty Morrison, Montana (K/P, Sr., San Valencia, Calif.),...Montana's Ty Morrison Ty Morrison had the usual solid day with his foot a Sacramento State, going 7-for-7 on PATs, to stay perfect on the year, totaling 429 yards on seven kickoffs with four touchbacks, and logging 112 yards on 3 punts. It was what he did with his arm that was special, however. Morrison helped put the nail in Sac State's coffin early in the fourth quarter when he completed a 28-yard pass to Ian Finch on a 4th and 9 to convert a huge fourth down for the Griz that led directly to a Michael Wortham touchdown one play later. Ogles placed 5 of his 10 punts inside the 20-yard line, matching his career-best. The senior punter also boomed three attempts over 50 yards on the day. He was a leader in a Grizzly defense that shut down the Hornet run game, with Sac State totaling just 141 yards on the ground - nearly 100 less than their season average.   Montana Football   WEEK 9 BIG SKY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Michael Wortham, Montana (WR/RB/KR, R-Sr., North Highlands, Calif.),...Michael Wortham did it all for Montana this past Friday night, with a hat trick of touchdowns and 238 all-purpose yards in the 49-35 win at Sacramento State. Wortham led the Griz in rushing, receiving, and combined returns as college football's leader in all-purpose yards made it a homecoming to remember in his hometown of Sacramento. All told he rushed for a game-high 89 yards and two touchdowns, caught five passes for 80 yards and another touchdown, and returned two kickoffs for 69 yards including a long of 44 yards.
