  North Dakota State Football   WEEK 10 MISSOURI VALLEY SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: RS Jackson Williams, North Dakota State, So., Omaha, Neb.,...Williams had a team-high 194 all-purpose yards on five touches to help spark North Dakota State to a 38-30 victory over 18th-ranked Youngstown State. Williams broke multiple tackles and scored a 100-yard kickoff return after YSU had scored to make it a four-point game late in the second quarter. It was his second career 100-yard kick return and the seventh in NDSU history.   Indiana State Football   WEEK 10 MISSOURI VALLEY NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK: DB Nic Yatsko, Indiana State, R-Fr., Terre Haute, Ind.,...Yatsko continues to make his presence felt as the redshirt freshman nickel back came through with a career-high 14 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in the Sycamores' 24-12 win over SDSU. Yatsko came through with a play that swung the momentum in the first quarter as SDSU was driving down the field following Rochelle's kickoff return for a touchdown.   South Dakota Football   WEEK 10 MISSOURI VALLEY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DB DeJuan Lewis, South Dakota, Sr., Pearland, Texas,...For the second-straight week, Lewis recovered a fumble for the Coyote defense from his secondary spot - but this one was much bigger. A fumble in a large pile of bodies at the USD 20-yard line with North Dakota driving (USD leading 19-7), saw Lewis come out with the ball and disappear in a flash down the field for the 80-yard scoop-and-score as USD pushed their lead to 26-21, which proved to be the game winning touchdown on the day. It's the first scoop-and-score for South Dakota since Mi'Quise Grace did it against the Jackrabbits last season (2024). - Missouri Valley Football

  Indiana State Football   WEEK 10 MISSOURI VALLEY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: WR/KR Rashad Rochelle, Indiana State, Sr., Springfield, Ill.,...Rochelle returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown to open the game against South Dakota State, and he then added four receptions for 84 yards and two more scores as the Sycamores topped the Jackrabbits in Brookings, S.D. 24-12. Rochelle's kickoff return for a score marked Indiana State's first kickoff return for a touchdown since 2014 and the longest since the end of the 2006 season and sparked the Indiana State team to the upset win over the Jackrabbits. With SDSU rallying in the second half, Rochelle hauled in touchdown receptions of 17 and 57 yards to put the game away in Brookings, marking the first multi-receiving touchdown effort of his Indiana State career. - Missouri Valley Football

(Moon Area HS / Marshall),...Fraley earned a 91 percent overall grade and had three key blocks in North Dakota State's 38-7 road win over South Dakota State. Fraley played 67 of 71 snaps for the Bison, who rushed for 257 yards, 5.2 yards per carry and five touchdowns while rolling up 500 yards of total offense - the most by an NDSU team in 22 Dakota Marker games. Niekamp tied his career and season high with a game-best 14 tackles against the Coyotes, which included a career-high 11 solo stops. The junior from Normal, Illinois, was also credited with a TFL, as the Redbirds held the No. 21 ranked Coyotes to just 13 points at home. (Westside HS),...Payton had 380 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in North Dakota State's 38-7 win over South Dakota State. His 17 carries for 137 yards and four touchdowns were all career highs, and he went 18 of 23 passing for 243 yards with completions to six different receivers led by Bryce Lance's five receptions for 103 yards. Payton's 1-yard TD run on fourth-and-goal capped a 16-play, 84-yard opening drive that ate up 9 minutes of the first quarter. The 148 yards and three touchdowns were both career highs for Katsis, while he became the first Lumberjack since 2019 to record three receiving touchdowns in a game. Katsis scored on passes of 6, 75, and 38 yards on the day. Katsis is just the third Big Sky player this season to record three or more touchdown catches, while the weekly conference honor is the second of the season for the senior.   Montana State Football   WEEK 12 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Caden Dowler, Montana State (DB, Jr., Billings, Mont.),...Montana State's Caden Dowler had one of the best defensive performances of the season in the 38-17 win over No. 9 UC Davis on Saturday night. The junior had two interceptions, one of which he returned 83 yards for a touchdown, to headline his night, while also tallying 12 tackles, nine being solos, a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble to cap off his sensational performance. The interception return for a touchdown came with MSU leading just 17-7 late in the third quarter, while his second takeaway came with the score at 24-14 and the Aggies driving. The Top 10 victory for the Bobcats on ESPN2 sets up a winner-take-all game for the Big Sky title next weekend in Missoula. Dowler has now won weekly conference honors in back-to-back weeks.   Sacramento State Football   WEEK 11 BIG SKY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Rodney Hammond, Sacramento State (RB, Sr., Norfolk, Va.),...Rodney Hammond rushed for 191 yards on 17 carries, while scoring two touchdowns on the ground to pace Sacramento State in its 52-24 win over Portland State. Hammond's day included touchdown runs of 87 and 41 yards, with the 87-yarder tying a school record. Hammond has now run for over 100 yards in five of his last six games and has scored nine touchdowns in those games. The senior running back also caught a pass for 29 yards and had a 20-yard kick return to finish the game with 240 all-purpose yards.   Northern Arizona Football   WEEK 11 BIG SKY SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kolbe Katsis, Northern Arizona (KR, R-Sr., Owasso, Okla.),...Kolbe Katsis returned a kick 100 yards for a touchdown in NAU's 49-10 win over Northern Colorado. His kick return was the first by a Lumberjack since 2017. After Northern Colorado scored a touchdown to trim NAU's lead to 21-10 right before the half, Katsis' kick return completely shifted the tide back in NAU's favor, giving NAU a 28-10 halftime lead and the Lumberjacks wound up scoring 28 unanswered points.
