Long Island U. Football   Ethan Greenwood passed for one touchdown and ran for another to lead Long Island University to a 24-17 win over Wagner in a season finale on Saturday. Greenwood scored from 2-yards out to make it 21-17 in the fourth quarter, the TD coming three plays after he found Jayden Simpson deep for 47 yards to the Wagner 7. A Will Johnson field goal capped the scoring, and Wagner turned the ball over on downs at the LIU 39 on its final possession. The Seahawks had taken a 17-14 lead went Shamar Williams returned a fumble for a 62-yard touchdown. Greenwood threw for 155 yards and was intercepted once. He rushed for 103 yards on 21 carries. Kam Ingram added 100 yards on the ground. O'Shawn Ross had a 42-yard rushing touchdown and Cory Nichols a 16-yard TD catch for the Sharks (6-6, 4-3 Northeast Conference).   Nebraska Football   Anthony Colandrea threw three touchdown passes and UNLV breezed to a 38-10 victory over Hawaii on Friday night. UNLV (9-2, 5-2 Mountain West Conference) turned the game-opening drive into a 44-yard field goal by Ramon Villela, but Hawaii (7-4, 4-3) answered with Micah Alejado's 70-yard scoring strike to Jackson Harris on the Rainbow Warriors' third play from scrimmage. Colandrea passed 8 yards to Jaden Bradley for a touchdown at the end of an eight-play, 75-yard drive and the Rebels led 14-3 after one quarter.

Colandrea and Taeshaun Lyons teamed up on a 72-yard touchdown pass just four plays and 1:23 into the second quarter to push the lead to 10. Keyvone Lee ran it in from 14 yards out at the end of a 13-play drive to make it 24-7, but Kansei Matsuzawa's 45-yard field goal with 5 seconds left cut Hawaii's deficit to 14 at halftime. Colandrea had a 1-yard touchdown toss to Daejon Reynolds on the first play of the fourth quarter to finish off an eight-play, 85-yard drive for a 31-10 advantage. JoJo Earle capped the scoring with a 27-yard touchdown run. Colandrea completed 21 of 26 passes for 253 yards for the Rebels. Alejado totaled 163 yards on 15-for-24 passing with an interception for the Rainbow Warriors. Both teams, which began the day in a five-way tie for second place in the MWC, conclude the regular season on Nov. 29 when the Rebels travel to play Nevada and the Rainbow Warriors host Wyoming. - UNLV/AP College Football

Wisconsin Football   Wisconsin cornerback Nyzier Fourqurean has dismissed a lawsuit against against the NCAA, ending his bid for an extra year of eligibility. "I could no longer keep my coaches and teammates waiting for a decision from the judge," Fourqurean said Friday in an X post. "Very disappointing." Fourqurean went to federal court seeking to continue playing for Wisconsin this year because he believed his first two seasons at Division II program Grand Valley State shouldn't count toward his eligibility. U.S. District Judge William Conley granted him a preliminary injunction in February, but a federal appeals court overruled it in July. The case was supposed to go to trial last month, but that date was pushed back to 2026.

Fourqurean sought an injunction enabling him to play while the case is pending, but no ruling has been made on that request. Fourqurean said in his social media post that he was told on a hearing call that a ruling would come the last week of September when Wisconsin was on a bye week. "My coaches, teammates and I waited and waited, and still nothing from the judge since," Fourqurean said. Fourqurean made the announcement one day before Wisconsin (3-7, 1-6 Big Ten) faces Illinois (7-3, 4-3, No. 21 College Football Playoff ) in the Badgers' home finale. Wisconsin closes its season Nov. 29 at Minnesota (6-4, 4-3). Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell said last month that the lack of a ruling on the matter was "unacceptable." Fickell added that "to see what has happened to Nyzier is a shame." Fourqurean enrolled at Grand Valley State in 2020, when the pandemic canceled the season. He played at Grand Valley State in 2021 and 2022 before transferring to Wisconsin in 2023. Fourqurean played at Wisconsin from 2023-24 and has been seeking one more year of eligibility. He started all 12 games for Wisconsin last season and collected 51 tackles with one interception. He started five of the Badgers' last six games in 2023. - AP College Football

North Carolina State Football   Justin Joly had a clinching fourth-down touchdown catch with 1:47 left - coming after Florida State committed turnovers on back-to-back late punt returns - to help N.C. State hang for a 21-11 win Friday night and become bowl eligible. The Wolfpack (6-5, 3-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) grinded to this win behind a defense that allowed one TD and got a huge showing from cornerback Devon Marshall with two interceptions and five pass breakups. The offense did its best work on a 15-play drive lasting nearly 9 minutes, ending with Will Wilson plowing through the left side for a 1-yard keeper and a 14-3 third-quarter lead. But it was the special-teams miscues by the Seminoles (5-6, 2-6) that stood out most.

Trailing 14-11, they forced the Wolfpack to punt near midfield, only for Caden Noonkester's short kick to hit the helmet of FSU blocker K.J. Kirkland - then bounce about 25 yards back to Noonkester, who dove on the ball near the original line of scrimmage with 3:53 left. FSU again forced a punt, only to see Squirrel White muff the catch and have it bounce right to N.C. State's Tra Thomas with 2:21 left. C.J. Bailey followed with his second TD throw on the 12-yarder to Joly for the 21-11 lead. Duce Robinson had a 9-yard TD catch from Tommy Castellanos midway through the fourth for FSU's lone touchdown. - NC State/AP College Football

Virginia Tech Football   Bill Davis' 36-yard run put Louisiana-Lafayette in front for good and the Ragin' Cajuns stopped Arkansas State at its own 1-yard line on the final play of the game to win 34-30 on Thursday night. Bell's touchdown gave Louisiana (5-6, 4-3 Sun Belt Conference) a 31-27 lead late in the third quarter and Tony Sterner's 50-yard field goal early in the fourth made it a four-point lead. The Red Wolves (5-6, 4-3) answered with a field goal and then drove 89 yards to the 2-yard line only to see Jaylen Raynor stopped at the 1 within a mass of players as time ran out. It took a review to confirm Raynor didn't reach the goal line. Lunch Winfield passed for 147 yards and rushed for 89 more including two touchdowns for Louisiana.

Raynor threw for 256 yards and rushed for 54. Devin Spencer rushed for 71 yards and a score for the Red Wolves. Spencer's 1-yard run was the Red Wolves' only TD on offense and it came at the end of the half for a 27-24 lead. Arkansas State's other touchdowns came on Cody Sigler's 27-yard fumble return and Chauncey Cobb's 93-yard kickoff return. Arkansas State turnovers on a punt and kickoff led to Louisiana's first two touchdowns. Louisiana was without seven players who were suspended by the Sun Belt Conference after a postgame melee in their previous game, a 42-39 win over Texas State, which had six players suspended. - Louisiana/AP College Football

Austin rolled to a 62-14 victory over Northwestern State in the 79th meeting between the two rivals. With the win, the Lumberjacks (10-2, 8-0 Southland Conference), ranked 13th in the FCS coaches' poll, secured the conference title outright. They clinched a share of the title, and an automatic bid to the FCS playoff, with last week's 26-15 win over Lamar. SFA took the lead early with a 79-yard punt return by Bugs Mortimer, and held a 20-0 lead at the end of the first quarter thanks to touchdown receptions by Derrick Bohler and Kylon Harris. Harris tallied 135 yards on just four receptions, and Bohler had 49 yards and two scores on three catches.

Southeastern Louisiana Football   Jaedon Henry ran for 93 yards and the clinching touchdown, and Southeastern Louisiana gashed Nicholls for 260 rushing yards in a 38–26 win. Southeastern (9-3) leaned on a two-quarterback rotation and a deep backfield to control the game. Carson Camp threw for 106 yards and two scores, while Kyle Lowe went 8-for-8 for 47 yards and a touchdown and added 62 rushing yards. Jaylon Domingeaux caught three touchdowns, two in the first half. SLU struck first after a Nicholls fumble set up a short field, with Camp hitting Domingeaux for an 18-yard score. Nicholls (4-8) answered with a blocked punt and Shane Lee punched in an 8-yard TD.

The teams traded blows in a wild second quarter - Lee tied it again on a 17-yard run, Corey Warren Jr. ripped a 47-yard touchdown, and Lowe capped a 78-yard drive with a 22-yard keeper. Guillermo Garcia Rodriguez's 28-yard field goal sent SLU into halftime up 31–21. Nicholls opened the third quarter with a safety after a botched SLU exchange, but the Colonels couldn't capitalize, punting on their next three series. Showalter's 38-yard field goal cut it to 31–26 with 5:07 left, but Southeastern answered with the dagger. Lowe converted a key third down, and Henry broke loose for gains of 13 and 27 yards before scoring from 14 yards out with 1:49 remaining. Ean Rodrigue went 15 of 22 for 137 yards for Nicholls, which finished with 308 total yards. - AP College Football
