Oklahoma Football   John Mateer threw two touchdown passes, and No. 8 Oklahoma defeated No. 23 Missouri 17-6 on Saturday to inch closer to a College Football Playoff spot. Mateer went 14 for 30 passing for 173 yards and ran for 60 yards. Isaiah Sategna caught three passes for 109 yards for the Sooners (9-2, 5-2 SEC, No. 8 CFP), who likely will make the playoff field with a win at home against LSU next Saturday. Oklahoma held the Tigers (7-4, 3-4, No. 22 CFP) to 301 yards and shut them out in the second half. The Sooners, coming off road wins over Tennessee and Alabama, claimed their third straight victory over a ranked opponent and their fifth over a team that was ranked when they played. Missouri's Ahmad Hardy, who led FBS with 134.6 yards rushing per game and ran for 300 yards and three touchdowns against Mississippi State last week, finished with 57 yards on 17 carries. Kevin Coleman Jr. caught seven passes for 115 yards for the Tigers.

Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula, who dislocated his left ankle last month against Vanderbilt and missed three games, returned on Saturday. He went 20 for 36 passing for 231 yards with two interceptions. Missouri took a 3-0 lead and tried to extend the advantage to six before Oklahoma's Peyton Bowen blocked Robert Meyer's 35-yard field-goal attempt. On the second play after the Sooners gained possession, Sategna turned a short catch into an 87-yard touchdown that put the Sooners up 7-3. Mateer connected with Javonnie Gibson for an 8-yard score that made it 14-3, and Oklahoma's lead was 14-6 at halftime. With Oklahoma up 17-6 in the third quarter, Sooner defensive back Reggie Powers III was ejected for targeting on what would have been a critical third-down stop. His teammate, Jacobe Johnson, intercepted Pribula on the next play to maintain Oklahoma's momentum. - Oklahoma/AP College Football

Ohio State Football   Julian Sayin threw two touchdown passes despite missing his top two playmakers, Bo Jackson rushed for 110 yards and a pair of scores and top-ranked Ohio State pulled away in the second half for a 42-9 victory over Rutgers on Saturday. The Buckeyes (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten) started off slow with wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate sidelined because of injuries. Smith is one of the nation's top receivers with 69 receptions for 902 yards and 10 touchdowns. The sophomore did not play the second half of last week's win over UCLA and appeared to favor his right leg. Tate was sidelined for a third straight game. The junior has 39 catches for 711 yards and seven TDs but has been held out since being injured during pregame warmups at Purdue on Nov. 8 in what coach Ryan Day described as lower leg tightness. Ohio State led 14-3 at halftime but then scored on four consecutive second-half drives to get some breathing room and turn its focus to next week's matchup at rival Michigan. Sayin - who completed 13 of 19 for 157 yards - capped an 11-play, 98-yard drive with a 7-yard TD pass to Brandon Inniss in the back corner of the end zone late in the second quarter to make it 14-3.

It was a perfect pass by Sayin, as Inniss hauled it in near the back pylon while being covered by Rutgers cornerback Jacobie Henderson. Sayin's other TD pass came midway through the third quarter when tight end Max Klare was wide open in the end zone for an 11-yard score to extend the lead to 21-3. Klare was Ohio State's leading receiver with seven catches for 105 yards. With the injuries at receiver, Ohio State had 38 running plays to 22 passing. Jackson had seven carries for 51 yards on his first possession, but fumbled into the end zone. The freshman opened the scoring with 4:01 left in the first quarter on a 15-yard run up the middle. He also had a 10-yard TD late in the third quarter to make it 28-3. CJ Donaldson and James Peoples also had rushing scores. Antwan Raymond had a 1-yard run up the middle in the fourth quarter for Rutgers' lone TD. The 2-point conversion was no good. The sophomore, who came into the game second in the Big Ten in rushing, had 15 carries for 52 yards. Athan Kaliakmanis was 10 of 20 passing for 81 yards for Rutgers (5-6, 2-6). - Ohio State/AP College Football

Georgia Football   Freshman Bo Walker ran for his first three career touchdowns, Nate Frazier added two scoring runs and No. 4 Georgia rolled to a 35-3 win over underdog Charlotte on Saturday in its bid to protect its College Football Playoff standing. Georgia (10-1) was looking to play well enough to retain its No. 4 CFP ranking and position for a first-round bye in the playoff. The Bulldogs overwhelmed Charlotte (1-10) for their seventh consecutive win. The 49ers suffered their eighth straight loss. One week after Gunner Stockton passed for four touchdowns and ran for another in last week's 35-10 win over then-No. 10 Texas, the Bulldogs emphasized their running game. Georgia ran for 192 yards and outgained the 49ers 449-169.

Senior running back Cash Jones made his first start in his final home regular-season game, but the Bulldogs were more effective when turning the running game over to Frazier and Walker. Frazier had scoring runs of 2 and 7 yards in the first quarter. Walker's first career touchdown, a 15-yard run, followed by a 12-yard scoring run, each in the second quarter, pushed the lead to 28-0. Walker added a 3-yard scoring run to cap the Bulldogs' first possession of the second half following Stockton's completions of 11 and 38 yards to Noah Thomas. Charlotte's Grayson Loftis threw a 38-yard pass to E. Jai Mason to give the 49ers a first down at the Georgia 21 in the fourth quarter. Safety Daniel Okonkwo's interception - the second thrown by Loftis - in the end zone ended the Charlotte scoring chance. Georgia then held the ball for the final 5 minutes, 59 seconds. - Georgia/AP College Football

Georgia Football   Gunner Stockton, a fourth-year junior, participated in the Senior Day pregame ceremony, a possible indication he could bypass his final year of eligibility and enter the NFL draft.   South Carolina Football   South Carolina receiver Nyck Harbor, who leads the team with five touchdown catches and 21 yards per reception this season, won't play for the Gamecocks against Coastal Carolina on Saturday. Harbor, a 6-foot-5 junior from Washington, D.C., was out wearing sweats during warmups a week after getting injured when a player fell awkwardly on his chest in the second half of South Carolina's 31-30 loss at No. 3 Texas A&M. Harbor went to a Texas hospital as a precaution and returned to campus on Sunday. Harbor also had an odd incident after an 80-yard catch-and-run TD in the second quarter against the Aggies. He went into the tunnel after running through the end zone as a few teammates followed. On their way out, a Texas state trooper bumped into Harbor, then turned and pointed at him. The trooper was sent home soon afterward, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. - AP College Football

Stonehill Football   Jack O'Connell threw two second-quarter touchdown passes and Stonehill's defense forced three interceptions as the Skyhawks beat Saint Francis 20-10 on Saturday to close the season. O'Connell finished 5 of 17 for 97 yards, but his efficiency in the red zone swung the game. He found Cody Ruff for a 24-yard score to put Stonehill (4-8, 3-4 NEC) ahead 10-7, then hit Cole Clarke from 17-yards out less than six minutes later after a short field set up the drive. Domenic Scalese added field goals from 48 and 45 yards to build a 20-7 halftime lead.

Stonehill controlled the ground game behind Joshua Roberson, who rushed for 128 yards on 15 carries, including a 40-yard burst that set up the Skyhawks' first points. The defense held Saint Francis (0-11, 0-7) scoreless for the final 56 minutes, limiting the Red Flash to 3.3 yards per carry and forcing five turnovers, including two lost fumbles. Saint Francis briefly led on a 50-yard strike from Adrian Mejia to Brandon London in the first quarter. Mejia threw for 105 yards and a touchdown but was intercepted once, while Jake Hamilton added two more picks in relief. Mac Plummer's 40-yard field goal early in the fourth pulled the Red Flash within 10, but they never crossed midfield again. Stonehill allowed only 151 yards passing and closed out its fourth win by pinning Saint Francis deep and running out the final minutes. - AP College Football

  11/22/25 - QB Dante Reno, Jr/2028, Yale + More +

Yale Football   Dante Reno lit up No. 10 Harvard for 273 yards and three touchdowns as No. 25 Yale seized an Ivy League FCS playoff berth with a 45-28 win in the 141st edition of The Game on Saturday. Reno needed only one snap to strike: after a forced fumble by Brandon Webster on Harvard's first play, he hit Jaxton Santiago for a 21-yard touchdown at 14:42 of the first. He later found Nico Brown for a 64-yard score and connected with Lucius Anderson for the freshman's first career touchdown, finishing 15 of 19 while averaging more than 14 yards per attempt. Brown led all receivers with 189 yards.

Yale (8-2, 6-1 Ivy) controlled the game behind running back Josh Pitsenberger, who carried 38 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns. His 35th career rushing score, an 8-yarder early in the second, moved him to second on Yale's all-time list. He added touchdowns from the 1 and 4 to push the Bulldogs ahead 38-14. Harvard (9-1, 6-1) answered with spurts from quarterback Jaden Craig, who threw for 266 yards and three touchdowns while adding a 26-yard scoring run. He found Ryan Tattersall twice for scores and hit Brady Blackburn from 31 yards out, but the Crimson spent the entire afternoon chasing double-digit deficits and mustered only 94 rushing yards. The loss cost Harvard its bid for its first unbeaten season since 2014 and delivered Yale the playoff spot through a head-to-head tiebreaker. - AP College Football

North Carolina Central Football   Refeno Vangates caught a touchdown pass and returned a kick for a touchdown in a 33-14 North Carolina Central win over Morgan State on Saturday, the final regular-season game for both teams. Walker Harris picked out Vangates for a 16-yard touchdown strike in the first quarter, sandwiched between a pair of 23- and 20-yard field goals by Kaleb Robison to put the Eagles (8-4, 3-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) up 13-0. Vangates took a kickoff 92 yards in the third quarter to give the Eagles a 27-14 lead.

Chris Mosley scored on a 6-yard carry to capitalize on an interception thrown by Morgan State's Raymond Moore III. Harris rushed for 86 yards on 19 carries, finishing the regular season with 1,017 yards. He led the Eagles with seven catches for 71 yards. Harris was 23-of-34 passing for 264 yards, finding Chauncey Spikes in the fourth quarter for his second touchdown of the game. He entered the game fourth in the FCS in passing yards, and finished the regular season with 3,214. Moore accounted for both scores for Morgan State (4-8, 1-4), throwing a 30-yard touchdown pass to Justin Perry, and keeping another on the ground. He was 12-of-21 passing for 111 yards with two interceptions and led the team with 53 rushing yards.   Texas AM Football   Marcel Reed threw three touchdown passes in the first quarter before sitting down early in the second as No. 3 Texas A&M built a huge early lead and rolled to a 48-0 win over FCS school Samford on Saturday. Texas A&M is 11-0 for the first time since going 12-0 under coach R.C. Slocum in 1992 and looks to cap a perfect regular season when the Aggies visit rival No. 17 Texas on Friday. Reed moved the offense with ease against the Bulldogs, leading the Aggies to touchdowns on four of his five possessions. The performance came after he struggled in the first half last week against South Carolina, putting the Aggies in a 27-point hole before bouncing back to lead the biggest comeback in school history in the 31-30 victory. He threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Ashton Bethel-Roman on the first drive to put the Aggies on top 7-0. They made it 14-0 when KC Concepcion grabbed a 6-yard pass from Reed with about four minutes left in the first quarter. Bethel-Roman's second touchdown came on his second catch, a 58-yard reception that extended the lead to 21-0 near the end of the first. A 1-yard TD run by Amari Daniels early in the second made it 28-0.

Reed was replaced by Miles O'Neill on Texas A&M's next possession with just over 10 minutes left in the first half. Reed was 10 of 15 for 120 yards and his three touchdown passes give him 25 this season, which leads the Southeastern Conference. Daniels had nine carries for a career-high 106 yards in a game where Rueben Owens II dressed but did not play. Reed was far from the only starter who had a short day. Most of Texas A&M's starters were replaced in the second quarter after the Aggies built their commanding lead. Quincy Crittendon threw for 46 yards for Samford (1-11), which wraps up a tough season that led to coach Chris Hatcher being fired on Nov. 9. It was Samford's second game under offensive coordinator Scot Sloan, who took over as interim head coach before last week's 30-16 loss to Austin Peay. The Aggies outgained Samford 360-25 in the first half, where the Bulldogs had minus-2 passing yards. Texas A&M piled up 14 first downs before halftime while Samford had none. The Bulldogs didn't get a first down until gaining 27 yards on a short pass combined with a lateral with just over eight minutes left in the third quarter. They had a shot to score on that drive, but Jake Garner's 41-yard field goal attempt was blocked. - Texas AM/AP College Football

Wake Forest Football   Robby Ashford threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as Wake Forest beat Delaware 52-14 for its third win in a row Saturday. Jake Dickert became the winningest first-year football coach in Wake Forest history. The Demon Deacons (8-3) won for the sixth time in their last seven games. Carlos Hernandez made two touchdown catches, racking up 197 yards on five receptions. He had TD plays of 79 and 93 yards. Ashford was 15-for-22 for 292 yards with an interception. Three Wake Forest players rushed for more than 60 yards, led by Chris Barnes' 78. Ty Clark III and Demond Claiborne ran for touchdowns. Connor Calvert kicked field goals of 44, 54 and 47 yards.

Nick Minicucci threw for 140 yards and a touchdown for Delaware (5-6), which will have to beat UTEP at home in a return to Conference USA play in order to be in line for a bowl bid. As a program in transition to the Bowl Subdivision, the Blue Hens only qualify for the postseason if there aren't enough other teams reaching the six-win threshold. Delaware's Viron Ellison Jr. took a short pass and dodged tacklers for a 43-yard touchdown in the second quarter. That ended a string of nine consecutive quarters for Wake Forest's defense without giving up a touchdown.   Central Connecticut Football   Brady Olson threw for three touchdowns and Elijah Howard ran for two scores and Central Connecticut clinched the Northeast Conference title beating Mercyhurst 35-28 on Saturday. Olson threw an 8-yard touchdown to Howard with 11:14 left in the fourth quarter after a six-play, 12-yard drive set up by the Blue Devils' defense. Eric Jackson tackled running back Brian Trobel to force a fumble that Dylan Jones recovered for the short field. Despite 10-play and nine-play drives by Mercyhurst on their last two possessions, Central Connecticut's defense managed both times to prevent the Lakers from scoring.

Adam Urena threw an 11-yard touchdown to Taylor Wright-Rawls with 2:03 left in the third quarter to bring Mercyhurst into a tie at 28. Howard ran for 163 yards on 25 carries for the Blue Devils (8-4, 6-1). Trobel ran for 166 yards on 25 carries and two touchdowns for Mercyhurst (5-7, 4-3). The win marks Central Connecticut State's second consecutive FCS Championship berth.   Southern Methodist Football   Kevin Jennings threw for 303 yards with three touchdowns and ran for another score as SMU stayed in contention to reach another ACC title game with a 38-6 win over Louisville on Saturday. The Mustangs (8-3, 6-1 ACC) would make the Atlantic Coast Conference championship game for the second year in a row since joining the league if they win their regular-season finale at California and get a little help. Jennings completed 29 of 37 passes in his third consecutive 300-yard game. His nifty 5-yard TD pass put SMU up 21-3 late in the first half. Jennings initially went right, then reversed to avoid defenders and had what seemed a clear lane to the end zone when, still on the run, he flung the ball forward with his right arm to TJ Harden.

Louisville (7-4, 4-4), without starting quarterback Miller Moss and leading rusher Isaac Brown, lost its third game in a row. Moss, a transfer from USC, had started the first 10 games and was in uniform but didn't play because of a foot injury. Brown has missed all three of those losses since injuring a leg against Virginia Tech. Adams, a redshirt freshman from Austin, Texas, was 12-of-17 passing for 94 yards in his first career start for the Cardinals, who had only 228 total yards. SMU last year made its ACC debut by going 8-0 in league play, and still made the 12-team College Football Playoff after losing to Clemson in the conference championship game. On Saturday, Jennings put SMU ahead to stay with his 2-yard TD on the game's opening drive, and Jordan Hudson made a spectacular leaping 7-yard TD catch while defended and being able to get his foot down in bounds. Yamir Knight had a similar 6-yard scoring catch in the back of the end zone in the fourth quarter. - SMU/AP College Football

Dickens was 28-of-40 passing for 332 yards with his three TD passes giving him 38 this season for the Catamounts (7-5, 6-2), passing Samford quarterbacks Michael Hiers (2022) and Devlin Hodges (2016) who each had 36. Dickens' record-breaking 37th touchdown pass came on a 16-yard score to Michael Rossin in the final minutes of the first half for a 24-3 lead. Dickens also ran for a 3-yard touchdown for the Catamounts' final touchdown. Markel Townsend and Branson Adams also rushed for touchdowns and Brayden Blackmon and Malik Knight had TD catches.
