  2019 ALL-GNAC FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Marquis Sampson, Western Oregon, WR,...Sampson is third on the team in receiving with 348 yards on 21 catches. He is second on the team in receiving touchdowns with four and averages 31.64 yards per game. He was also involved on special teams returning nine kickoffs for 202 yards (22.44 average) with a long of 67 yards that he did against Texas A&M-Kingsville to earn GNAC Player of the Week honors. Sampson also took a few carries this season rushing eight times for 36 yards and a touchdown, with a long carry of 14 yards. His scored a rushing touchdown against Central Washington, which was his only carry of the game. He had at least 50 receiving yards in five games, going for a high of 66 on three catches and a score against Azusa Pacific.
