The No. 9 Kennesaw State football team earned its third consecutive berth in the NCAA Division I FCS Playoffs on Sunday and will travel to Wofford on Saturday, Nov. 30 for a first-round matchup against the Terriers. Kennesaw State and Wofford will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. on ESPN3 with the winner earning the right to advance to the second round of the FCS Playoffs and travel to No. 3 national seed Weber State on Dec. 7 in Ogden, Utah.

In the brief five-year history of Kennesaw State football, the Owls have made three-straight appearances in the FCS Playoffs, becoming the first start-up program in the last 20 years to record 47 victories in five seasons and are the lone Big South Conference team to post three consecutive 10-win seasons. The Owls finished the 2019 regular season with a 10-2 record as they look to make the program's third consecutive run to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs. During KSU's last 38 games, it has a remarkable 33-5 record, including winning 26 of its last 27 regular season games against FCS opponents. Kennesaw State ended the regular season with the No. 1 rushing attack in the country, averaging 350.0 yards per game on the ground, including 53 rushing touchdowns to lead the nation. - Kennesaw State Football
