CJ Anderson blocked Amaury Martinez's 27-yard field goal attempt in second overtime to secure Jackson State's 38-35 win over Prairie View A&M on Thursday night. Keshawn Harper ran 21 times for 105 yards and two touchdowns for the Tigers (3-5, 2-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Harper carried the ball 20 yards on the Tigers' first five plays of the first overtime. After an incomplete pass set up a fourth-and-1 at the 5, Harper scooped up a botched snap, rolled away from the Panthers blitz and lofted a pass to D.D. Bowie, who ran it into the end zone to extend the game.

Jackson State drove to the Prairie View 3 in the second overtime and Adrian Salazar kicked his fourth field goal of the game to give the Tigers the lead. Dawonya Tucker ran for 159 yards and three touchdowns for the Panthers (3-5, 2-3). Jalen Morton left the game with an injury after leading a pair of touchdown drives that gave Prairie View A&M a 28-25 lead early in the fourth quarter. Trazon Connley finished the game at quarterback for the Panthers. Salazar's 31-yard field goal with 16 seconds left in the fourth quarter forced overtime. - AP College Football
