Duncan Brune had a 91-yard touchdown run with 3:57 remaining, and Ohio answered Akron's fourth-quarter rally to beat the Zips 28-20 on Tuesday night. Akron took a 17-14 lead with 9:35 left when Jordan Gant scored on a 1-yard run, and Cibastian Broughton found Marcel Williams for the two-point conversion. The lead lasted 13 seconds. Nick Poulos hit Dom Dorwart for a 60-yard touchdown on Ohio's next play to put the Bobcats back in front 21-17. Brune later broke free for his 91-yard score to give Ohio (7-2, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) an 11-point cushion.

Ohio's defense provided the Bobcats' only touchdown of the first half. DJ Walker intercepted Broughton and returned it 45 yards for a score with nine seconds left in the first quarter, giving Ohio a 7-3 lead. Poulos finished 12 of 20 for 197 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 45 yards and another score. Dorwart caught four passes for 108 yards. Gant rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown for Akron (1-8, 0-5) while Broughton threw for 232 yards. - AP College Football
