10/19 WEEK 7 SEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Kentucky's Jordan Castell, a senior safety from Orlando, Fla., made two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, and added a pass breakup and nine tackles in the Wildcats' 21-13 win at Oklahoma. In the second quarter, Oklahoma lined up for an apparent field goal from the Kentucky 10-yard line before running a fake and throwing into the end zone. Castell did not bite on the fake, staying with the intended receiver and making the interception. In the fourth quarter, with Kentucky clinging to a 14-13 lead and the Sooners driving, Castell read a route over the middle and intercepted the pass at the 41-yard line. He veered to his left and outran the pursuit for his first collegiate touchdown. Castell helped hold an Oklahoma offense that entered the game averaging 23 points per game to 13 points. Castell leads the SEC with four interceptions this season. A sure tackler from his safety position, he also ranks sixth in the league in tackles per game. - SEC Football
