10/12 WEEK 6 SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Kentucky's Kenny Darby, a freshman wide receiver from Bossier City, La., caught four passes for 79 yards, averaging 19.8 yards per reception, including two crucial catches late in the Wildcats' 35-34 overtime win over No. 10 LSU. With Kentucky trailing 27-24 on its final possession of regulation, Darby made a 19-yard catch to the LSU 23-yard line; four plays later, Adam Zouagui made a 33-yard field goal to force overtime. In overtime, facing third-and-8 from the 23, Darby caught a short pass at the 19, pushed forward for the first down and dragged a pile of tacklers all the way to the 1-yard line. The 22-yard play set up C.J. Baxter's 1-yard touchdown run. Darby's 79 receiving yards are the most by a Kentucky true freshman against an AP Top 10 team since Barion Brown had 145 against Georgia in 2022. - SEC Football
