10/12 WEEK 6 SEC CO-SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Oklahoma's Tate Sandell, a fifth-year place kicker from Port Neches, Texas, made a 47-yard field goal as time expired to give the Sooners a 27-24 win over No. 1 Texas at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. It was the second game-winning play as time expired in program history (the other came in 2021). Sandell went 2-for-3 on field goals, with makes from a season-long 53 yards and the 47-yard game-winner (his miss came from 53 yards on his first attempt). The 53-yarder pulled OU within 17-10 in the third quarter and was his first 50-plus-yard make this season, his ninth in two seasons at Oklahoma and the 11th of his career, including two in 2024 at UTSA. The 2025 Lou Groza Award winner also went 3-for-3 on PATs and is 47-for-47 on PAT tries in two seasons at Oklahoma (12-for-12 this year). The win was Oklahoma's first over a No. 1-ranked team since 2007, its first over a No. 1-ranked opponent while unranked in the AP poll and its first ever over Texas with the Longhorns ranked No. 1 in the AP poll. - SEC Football
